Excellent all around - hospitality, best food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in Iceland after over a week of other locations, wildlife, fishing, hiking and hot pools.

Booking.com recommend two rooms for two adults and a child. In fact one of our rooms had a double and a single bed and would have been sufficient for our group

Beds were a little narrow. Road to property was rough. Would have liked to kept the windows open at night but the bugs got in. Screens on windows would have been great.

Setting was fantastic. Eveyrone was very helpful. Environment was clean. Perfect place to stop while trying to get across the North. Would stay here again and stay longer to hike. Would highly recommend.

We had a great 2 nights stay here. The room (#10) was clean and warm. The decor is to our preference. Initially, we received a room which was nice but had difficulty with the hot shower handle. At first I thought it was not going to get resolved to our satisfaction but Victoria from the front desk took care of us and rendered the best possible resolution. It made our stay simply wonderful. By the way let me say the breakfast was delicious and abundant. The location is far enough to feel like being in the middle of nowhere but close enough to be a comfortable driving distance to many attractions.

Warm room as no aircon.

Not too far off the N1 but felt like you were were in the wilderness. Stunning views and so quiet. Room lovely and clean although warm as a hot day in Iceland. Food great and service excellent. Well recommend to people.

The entire hotel was amazing. The rooms were really nice and clean. There was a common area with a kitchenette and some sofas where we ended up spending our evening. There is also a restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast. The food was great. Overall, it was an amazing stay with great views.

A gem in the middle of nowhere, over the top, worth every single euro spent. Definitely the most genuine accommodation you can find in Iceland, surrounded by sheep, dogs, and their pet reindeer. The restaurant is as sublime as the place itself.

Nothing to see here, we loved everything about this stay!

An absolute gem. If you are travelling towards East Coast this is a must stay accommodation. We stayed only 2 nights but I can easily imagine coming here for more than 2 weeks in summer, when the roads to the highlands are opened. For us personally this is a solid 9/10, and the only reason we don't rate it as 10/10 is that there is no sauna - but this is of course our personal preference :)

Fabulous wilderness location. Very comfortable room and the breakfast was the best we had across the 8 accommodations we stayed in whilst in Iceland. A wonderful place to go for a walk after breakfast!

The area is remote and quiet. The room was really nice, spacious, and clean. Big common area where you can gather with your group. I wish I would have stayed longer than 1 night!

It was quite cold in the dinning room.

We loved our stay here, really is a hidden gem. The room is really spacious, very nicely decorated and well equipped. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. Loved all the animals especially the dogs and little cat. My partner even saw an artic fox on the walk back from breakfast.

Extraordinay hotel with fantastic design ideas. Especially great the record player for long-playing discs in the lounge. Charming is the mixture of guests (hotel, apartments, camping site). Very good restaurant but a little meagre breakfast (as often in Iceland).

I feel the staff could be nicer, they all look a bit tense if not slightly aggressive.

Very nice looking, clean and modern throughout, really nice. The common room is large with high ceiling, coffee machine, kettle, sink...offering nice views. I don't know if it's common/normal but a reindeer was roaming the grounds most of the time we were there, pretty funny. Breakfast was good and in a nice isolated area of the restaurant so it's quiet.

There was just one pillow. Breakfast can be improved in terms of variety and quality too.

The whole hotel is fully renovated. Rooms are very well furnished. Bed is comfortable.
