The location is truly amazing, the staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was good. We really enjoyed the nature and the view (the sunset was amazing) and all of the animals there. The beds were also comfortable.

Unfortunately we didn't sleep well, we stayed at a room on the ground floor of the guesthouse and when somebody was talking in the living room it was almost like that person was inside our room speaking. Also when people woke up at 6 in the morning and went down to the bathroom the stairs made so much noise that we woke up. I think it would be good to put up signs in the guesthouse reminding people to be considerate and not make unnecessary noise during certain hours. Everything else we were happy with.

Beautiful quiet location. Many Icelanders were there for holiday, not just foreigners. Restaurant on site, shared kitchen facility.

We were a family of 3, and one of the beds had a deep depression in the mattress and was uncomfortable.

    Property response:

Dear Darrin, Thank you for your review. Our apologies for the inconvinience. We've checked and replaced the mattress for the future. We hope to host you again in the future!

The location is great. I was astonished with the view around.

Unfortunately the bungalows were occupied, so I decided to take the guesthouse which is a budgetary choice. Small room with banked beds was not the standard I like. From the other hand it was clean and quiet.

Beautiful landscape and buildings, kind people, arctic foxes on the campsite nearby.

The tame rabbits that were resting near the front porch of the guesthouse attracted packs of noisy children, some of them viciously jumping on top of the rabbits. People regularly disturbed the foxes by coming too close to the den.

Comfortable yet separated beds inspired by Islandic tradition.

Main area dark and insufficiently lit. The kitchen area was poorly equipped, with old, partially damaged pots, virtually no basic amenities like salt nor sugar.

    It was quiet and secluded.

Wasn’t expecting the long dirt road to get to the property.
