The single beds in the room are placed a bit apart from the walls with no headrests, which makes it not possible to half-sit/half lie in the bed to read or do something but lie flat down. Bathroom feels like all plastic and very small. Breakfast for a vegetarian offers almost no choice. The location is rather far away from the main road. If you go fishing on the coast - it’s fine. If you are on a drive through, better take another overnight options.

The small huts are clean and nice. 2 single beds, a small bathroom. The common house/area is large. Self-service breakfast is a bit limited in choices for a vegetarian.

In my opinion, the price-performance ratio isn’t quite right, considering that not everything is brand new anymore, the place isn’t particularly lovingly furnished, and you have to prepare your own breakfast (You have to take the food from the fridge yourself and prepare the breakfast on your own.-totally fine but not for this price)

Great surroundings and a fantastic view, as well as a wonderful sense of peace to enjoy there.

You must drive down a gravel road to reach the property, however in comparison with some other roads we have had to navigate during our trip, this gravel road is very well maintained. Wish we had a small fridge in our room. We had large luggage and it was difficult to walk around the room with both bags open at the same time. If you have only 1 large bag or small bags only then you won't have any problems. Please note that the property goes by a different name when you arrive (I can't remember the exact name but it begins with an 'S'.) Don't worry, you are at the right property.

Loved that we got to stay outside of the nearest town a little bit. This helped us get to see the northern lights during our stay! Bathroom was large and shower was good. Beds were comfortable and great parking for all of the units. We saw no staff while we were here but this was no problem as the property manager gave us all the instructions needed by message through booking.com.

Room was a little bit cold. One Lamp in Room didnt worked second was pretty bad. The temperature bek shower is limited, you can shower warm, but extra hot wasnt possible

Nice place with lovely views. Good, clean rooms with a nice bathroom. We could use the big kitchen and other facilities in the main room (which is a restaurant or big group accomodation in the summer I think). Road was 20 km dirt road of good quality so no problem at all to come to this place. All was self check in and we were the only ones around the whole time. That was a very cool experience. Spotted some animals.

40 minutes drive from Eglisstadir city center. looks a bit older than in pictures.

Free sauna (outside the room), clean private room for 2 persons. Far from city but accessible by car. Free coffee and tea. can use their kitchen for cooking.

The wi-fi connection in the room was very weak.

The hotel is beautifully located, has a great style, the owner is very helpful. The rooms are quite small, but there is a area available for all the guests which is really well equipped and comfortable.

Nothing, beautiful place to stay.

Loved the peaceful location, incredible views, had the whole place to ourselves, amazing chefs kitchen with all the amenities and free to use, breakfast was plentiful, rooms were very warm with underfloor heating, lovely on the feet but almost too warm at night.

What a wonderfull place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are big and comfortable, the beds were really really comfortable! The owner is such a nice and friendly gentleman. What a pleasure it was to meet him! The kitchen is nice and big and you can use anything you need. In the fridge was everything you need for breakfast. We would absolutely recommend this lodge to anybody!
