The WiFi seemed to be provided by Cabin 3 and was intermittent - I needed to check the roads and weather very early one morning for a whale watching trip in Husavik and it was mostly offline.

Cabin was peaceful, tucked away in the woods. I had a wander around the woods and grounds but did not have time to use the outdoor grill or hot tub. It was well equipped and had some cooking essentials as well. It is a short walk down to the harbour, where there are nice buildings and a restaurant, but the night I checked (Monday), it was by reservation only.

While cooking inside, even with opened windows, the smoke starts the smoke alarm. It can be only shut down if you take the battery off. I tried to contact owners even in whats up app but no response so we had to cook without it. It should be checked. Besides it all cool.

Easy check in. Beautiful nature and clean place. Fully equipped. Very quiet and cozy. Was a great stay.

I wish I could've stayed here for a few days. The area is beautiful, the cabin was very pleasant and clean. I loved the hot tub by night. When I go back to Iceland I hope I get to go back here too!

Not much cooking facilities e.g no microwave made it hard to self cater and we were not near a restaurant. No freezer. Cottage was hard to get the right temperature and could be quite noisy at night.

Location beautiful. Cabin very cute. Handy enough for Akureyri by car. Host available if needed. hottub was nice even in very cold weather. Host understanding and polite.

A cozy cabin in the woods perfect for our holiday! It was the only place in Iceland where the hosts put the extra work and the cabin was equipped with bath robes, coffee, tea & spices. The hosts were the most amazing people really helpful and sweet. We stayed during some crazy snowy days and they constantly kept cleaning the roads! We loved it and we will be back soon ❤️

Few more hangers would help guests to store dress. No space for the luggage. Dishes could be cleaner - migt be after previous guest but owners should control it.

Nice cozy little woden house. Clear instructions for arrival, key in the outdoor safe. Clean bathroom.

Location. Very quiet and close to a small village with a restaurant. When we arrived we saw some small whales close to the harbour.. amazing! The cabin had everything we needed and was already cozy and warm when we arrived. The hottub is a nice bonus after a long day of hiking and driving. Nice oasis close to Akureyri!

Two-burner hot plate for cooking has seen better days (it still did the job, just could use some updating)

Cozy, quiet. Great for a few nights as a home base for exploring Akureyri, Lake Myvatn, Husavik, etc... Very quiet. There was still a lot of snow and muddy meltoff on the ground, so we couldn't really explore the grounds too much, but it looked like it will be absolutely beautiful later in the year.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable cottage in the middle of a forest! The accommodation was very cosy, with a very well equipped kitchen to prepare dinner. We only stayed here 1 night, but it was beautiful! We also made use of the heated pool located in the woods and it was wonderful!!!
