Location is somewhat out of the centre, especially for the Kazimayn shrines. A lot of construction ongoing in the area. No nearby amenities apparent in the area.

The area around the hotel is quite run down and industrial, so not a place for walking around unfortunately. No available English language TV channels or news - BBC, CNN etc. Room pricing quite high based on quality of facilities and location.

The staff at the hotel were very polite, helpful and prompt in dealing with queries. The breakfast buffet service was excellent. We were assisted with arrangements for city transfers by taxi to Najaf and Samarra. we had a leaking hand wash basin which was promptly fixed. The room was very large, comprising a lounge/sofa and dining area.

Power-cut seems to be part of way-of-life in Iraq and it's not the hotel's fault at all. Iraq has a lot to offer to the world in history heritage and religious heritage. Hope tourism can help Iraq develop quicker.

Likev an oasis in a desert. Beautiful decorations internally. Wonderful staff trying a lot to help me. Even waived my dinner cost! Big room and nice food. I booked 3 days there.

The first room I got, wasn’t clean and had a strong smell of cigarette. They QUICKLY changed it and gave me a much better room.

The location is very convenient. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff was very helpful and could speak English. For the few who couldn’t, they were still smiling and trying to find someone quickly to help. The breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was great. I also ordered from the room service some food and it was tasty. Welcoming and friendly environment. I appreciated their help.

The hotel location is a bit isolated and feels like an industrial area especially once it gets dark.

The hotel is cosy and spacious but quite dated. I really liked the staff, they were all really friendly and extremely helpful. I felt safe and at home with the staff at the hotel. They brought my breakfast to my room and they were very helpful and generous.
