One notable thing during our stay was the occasional power cuts, which are quite common in hill stations. However, the team at Vaanam handled it well—essential items like lights, Wi-Fi were backed by additional power supply, so we were never really inconvenienced.

Vaanam Holidays in Ooty was a serene and memorable stay nestled in the hills. Surrounded by lush greenery and misty views, it felt like living inside a painting. Though I liked rasam rice, dal tadka, french fries etc. But I didn't like the Chinese food items I ordered.Overall it was excellent experience

I stayed in a super deluxe suite with a beautiful view of mountains and Greenery. It had 2 balconies both having breathtaking view. Peaceful and calm place away from Ooty city. Staff was attentive and helping Breakfast was excellent, idli, medhu wada and dosa were delicious.

Room was not spacious. We could barely walk with all the furniture inside. Toilet seat was kept too close to the side wall. We could not sit straight on the Seat as there was no space on the right side. Bathroom water pressure was very low we could not use the Shower much. The wash basin should have been little bigger.

Vanam Holidays offers panoramic valley views from spacious, well appointed rooms with balconies. The rooms have western style ensuite with toiletries. The hotel is situated a short distance outside of Ooty and offers sweeping views of the Kethi Valley and surrounding mountains. The rooms provide direct views of tea plantations and garden farms. The location is great for walking with a new sealed road that winds itself up into rich farming lands inclusive of tea, mushrooms and other crops and the opportunity to see a diverse range of birds. Without a doubt the prize of Vanam is the exceptional service provided by hotel staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable stay. The food - is fresh, tasty and gloriously cooked in a loving home style way - by the most caring ladies you will ever meet. We stayed extra nights just to enjoy the delicious foods from our room and to savour the views from our room. Special mention to Udaykumar, Ambika Amma, Jaya, Bipin and Jaya who truely make Vanam an amazing stay - look forward to our return visit!!

I will have to think too long and hard as I really am unable to find fault with our stay. So honestly nothing that we dint like.

It was a perfect stay at Ooty. We liked everything at this place. Starting with Udaykumar sir , the manager who was such a humble and polite person and responding and confirming on all the stay queries. The property is located on a fabulous location, away from the city crowd and hustle bustle. The view from the room is divine and blissful. Beautiful mornings and evenings with plenty of birds chirping around. Nice balcony to sit and have coffee or tea and relax in tranquillity. The room was a spacious and comfortable one with all amenities available with kettle,, television with several channels , sitting place , wardrobe , comfortable mattress and pillows , nice ambience to the room , spacious washroom with hot water available always. Clean and crisp towels. The wifi worked terrific and very strong all the time. The Food service was absolutely homely and awesome. Every dish served at complimentary breakfast , lunch and dinner was a delight and we relished everything served. More importantly they serve healthy quantity and with high quality. Be it the owners mother Ambika Amma , the senior attendant lady Jaya , the couple Bipin and Jaya and of course Udaykumar sir are human gems and made our stay that much more pleasant , happy and a memorable one. This place is perfect if you seek nature , tranquillity , great hospitality , culinary delight and quality peace and happiness , all at very reasonable pricing, trust me. I wish the entire team and owners the very best always and seems they are expanding a bit nearby and I will recommend VANAM HOLIDAYS to every traveller visiting Ooty who prefer to stay a bit away from town centre , where it could be too noisy , dusty and crowded. Its on a gorgeous hillside 20 mins out of Ooty - which is perfect to avoid the traffic and General busy-ness of Ooty. But it means there are very few food options nearby. Great food available from the guesthouse though.

The only drawback is they do not have provision for tea or coffee in the room, if you are a early riser you have to wait till the kitchen opens

We had a beautiful spacious room with an astonishing view of the mountains and tea fields which we enjoyed from our balcony. The room was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen staff made some incredibly delicious meals!
