How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A little freshers air or an exhaust fan would have helped to be more comfortable.
Everything was okay here. Good place to be on a solo .. Boys were really giving attention. The reception guy also delta decently.

There was no parking facility since it is in the market. If travelling by your vehicle, this might be an issue. If using public transport, the electric rickshaws are available within a few seconds.
The rooms were pretty good. It was bang opposite to Partition museum and walking distance to Shri Harmandir Sahib. Breakfast was included in the package and it was good. I would just like to give a suggestion to include some other options as well for breakfast as we had Aloo paratha everyday. The staff was very helpful and it felt just like another home for us, right in the middle of the market.

many ppl from reception didnt speak proper english, i asked sone questions, they say yes and after continuing you realise they dont ubderstand anything! the doirs to the doorm are very loud!
really in the centre, comfy bed, nice talk with the owner, nice terrace, but wifi didnt work there

ac was blllur😕 breakfast was ok but,,, dull.
STAFF - ARSH @reception was extra helpful - even following to make sure we were ok after leaving. Good manager He and the other reception changed an average builing into a nice stay.

Wifi was not working apart from that all good. I came for travel plus work purpose, as wifi an issue it was difficult for me. For few doms it was not having curtains so was having that difficulty since light was coming through the glass

Its a little noisy.
Location is quite close to station and bus stand. The markets are all around. Golden temple is nearby. The area has lots of food options. Rooms are good.

We stayed in a family room which was very compact. It was just a room made in basement. There was not much space in the room.
It is a budget stay with minimal facilities. Location of the property is really nice and it is close to the railway station as well. Manju was our host and she was really helpful with all the queries that we had Breakfast provided the next morning was nice. It was freshly prepared and served hot.

The room did not have a cupboard/almirah.

Location and cleanliness of hotel.

The room didn't have towels and water bottles (considering the excessive heat outside). We managed as we had a change of towels and water bottles along with us.
The location, its nearby the Partition museum and the Golden temple. Moat places to eat are also nearby.

Establishment is little old but building seems to have been rennovated.
Location is excellent, right in front of Partition museum and golden Temple complex. Public transport is very easily available. Staff was courteous.

During our stay time, there was renovation going on. That's the reason the room was a bit dusty. The staffs cleaned the room after we informed them about the room condition. Overall, our stay in this hotel was pleasant and safe.
The place is located very nearby to Golden Temple and many restaurants.. Staffs are very helpful
