Breakfsts were disappointing. The noise from the evening entertainment in the nearby stadium was bothersome.

The location was excellent. The hotel is a real pearl! The staff was so helpful.

All in all the experience was very positive, just two small remarks: 1. We were not aware that the day of our arrival was the day the gay parade took place in Jerusalem. As the parade started just outside of the hotel all roads were blocked, so we could not reach the hotel by car, and even as pedestrians had a problem to get to the hotel. It would have been nice if the hotel could inform guests in advance of such event - we would have planned our day differently and would have arrived to the hotel earlier before roads were blocked. 2. No water or coffee available in the hotel apart from breakfast time - would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the room, As for coffee - to be fair there was Nescafe in the room, but I would expect such a hotel to have a coffee machine to provide guests with "proper" coffee at least during daytime hours.

The guesthouse is really special and has a real good vibe about it. The building is beautiful, clean and very inviting. Staff are super polite and helpful. Breakfast is great and includes a wide selection of food to cater for all needs. Rooms was nice, clean and comfortable.

It was very noisy, was trying to sleep during the day and staff were noisy/shouting. Needs to be sound proofed better. Furniture was moved aboit early in morning and late evening.

Breakfast was varied but not abundant

Excellent location in historic landmark, cosy hotel with no frills but everything you need to enjoy a few days in Jerusalem. Great views to the old city.

No elevators, which was ok for us but should be noted.

The atmosphere, the location, knowing that it used to be Alenby's home in the past, was very exciting. We were allowed to use the dining room for our celebration although it was not pre planned, the staff was very kind and helpful.

Three recommendations: 1) Install hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang Pjs or robes. 2) Two hooks for coats in the room would be great specially after the rains. 3) Room #14 had no shower curtain and water went every where.

Breakfast was fresh food but coffee machine produced warm coffee. The location made it wonderful to reach all location by public transport or walking. It has a wonderful view but not able to enjoy because of the cold weather but we have been in the summer it was great to sit on the roof and look out with a cup of coffee in the morning. Staff was very helpful and a pleasure to talk with. The rooms very clean and comfortable.

We would have have loved feather pillows and covers instead of synthetic.

Perfect location , very clean..Breakfast was nice , but I expected higher quality. The Labaneh was really good.

Didn't love the breakfast as a vegan. Would have liked to see some hummus and/or techina served there for instance.
