The front desk personnel were extremely helpful.

Not the fault of the hotel - extremely loud construction next door. Artificial chemical smell diffused into air. Very little housekeeping - bedding not changed. Shower leaks onto floor in bathroom. Foldout bed had extremely hard “mattress.”

The location. It is near Ben Yehuda Street pedestrian area & near bus stops and light rail. . It is a cheap taxi ride from the train station. It is near Jaffa Street & King George V Street. It is near the Mahane Yehuda Market. There is free water, tea & coffee 24/7 in a lounge. There were numerous TV channels in many languages. There is a lift & a fridge.

    Nothing to complain about.

The location - right across from the shuk was nice.

It had a budget motel vibe. And when I got to the room I noticed there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Really?

The hotel located in the heart of the city, very convenient to reach all sites, cafes, etc. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay, as it is served in the restaurant on the roof of the hotel - although there were renovations at the time, the view and the food were great. That's pretty much only positive memories from our stay

The room overlooks a construction site - gets quite noise in the morning when the work starts, plus a lot of dust in the room and the air because of the same very reason. This wasn't mentioned anywhere here on the site, and as the construction in front just started, it will be relevant for another few good years. But most importantly, the room doesn't look like in the pictures, all furniture is quite worn out, and for the requested price i would expect hotel managers to replace broken and scratched pieces of furniture regularly.. Well, that wasn't the case. The room also wasn't clean enough, the mirror had fingerprints all over when we entered, the floor was dusty....see for yourself in the pictures and make your own conclusion, if the 200+ euros for a night is a fair price for the room condition. Shame

The front desk staff was very kind and gracious. He could tell I was exhausted from the plus 12 hour flight arriving at 10:00 a.m. and checkin was not until 4:00 p.m. He was able to have a room available for within 10 minutes. Bravo to this young man. This meant so much to me being that I have the autoimmune disease lupus and rest is essential to calm the symptoms and pain that I was experiencing. He even upgraded me, he just so showed me a simple act of kindness without knowing I was in the midst of a medical crisis. The room was spacious extremely clean with a white and cream design. I was able to get the rest I needed but unfortunately I had to leave immediately heading back to the US less than 24 hours upon arrival. I would highly recommend this property. I am Marriott Titanium Member and opted to stay at this very charming and hospitable property. The only suggestion I would make is an adjustment to hotel stay policy which I neglected to read it to make it clear that you will forfeit the balance of your stay if you leave early. I think this cancellation policy should be on a case by case basis especially if it's concerning a emergency and guest is departing less than 24 hours from arrival. But you will truly love this property and I will definitely return!!!!

The cancellation policy and refunds should be determined according to the circumstances with verification of why a refund is warranted. Had a 3 day reservation but I had to return back on another long flight to California within 24 hours due to family emergency and a refund request was denied. At least I was able to get a peaceful rest and shower before my return.
