Reviews of Hostel Roks

The hostel has quiet and no-smoking rules. Highly appreciate that. The place is well organised, lovely designed, clean, cozy and comfortable. The owner responds quickly. It locates very close to the mountain train, and there are some tasty cafes and restaurants nearby. The public transportation is around that we didn’t need to walk much.

It is not we didn’t like it, but here is a heads-up for travellers: the door going out to the terrace from the room cannot be locked, and it is shared between the type of rooms which have access to it. If any one of you have a concern, you have this in mind. Yet it is a nice terrace.

Nice clean affordable family room

The place is very beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is very attentive to our needs and the commnication has been very kind. It’s tastefully designed with inviting shared spaces like a living room and a fully equipped kitchen.

Great hostel, nice clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. The shared shower and toilet are clean and in good condition, and shower accessories are available. Definitely found the accommodation I need in Haifa. I will come back again.

We didn't got the hostel experience in Israel, although we travel a lot (for our budget), this was both pleasant and nostalgic experience.

What we don't like at most places we stay, soft mattress. Also, as the top of the door frame is transparent, the dimmed corridor light were seen during nighttime.

the location is problematic as it is on a busy road, it was difficult to fall asleep at night.

The location was a little difficult to find, and the building is in the process of being rehabbed, but my room was recently remodeled, clean and nice.

Great location Free car parking in the center of Haifa. The room was exceptionally clean.

Good location & nice old house, new sanitary facilities, free coffee, it was a bit cold but moveable heaters were provided. Calm atmosphere.

The hostel was in a great location near a large supermarket, bus routes and a cheap shopping street with a NIS12 felafel joint. It was spotlessly clean, with large rooms, a nicely equipped kitchen, comfortable, attractive sitting/TV room and open air balcony. The owner managers were helpful and friendly. It was quiet and private.

I would have preferred to have a key to my dorm room, but there were no security issues while I was there.
