Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe air-con in the hotel corridors and lifts wasn't very effective/non existent. The bathroom was somewhat dated (tiles and fittings looked 15-20 yes old) with a shower in a bath which can be tricky/dangerous to navigate when it's wet and soapy..
Great location, easy to find and travel to sites around Nazareth.

IsraelThe staff kept nagging about payment that didn't go through on their end, even though all the proof was given to them. Also the hotel is very very kosher, this was not stated anywhere in the reservation process, it affected very much our stay
The pool was very nice, and the room was comfy

IsraelAt first, I was angry that where should I put my bathrobes on top of my bags? But then I realized that the girl in the spa was a great fellow, because she knew that in my business class room there were no bathrobe and slippers! Do you think it's a coincidence? No, no one in the hotel put bathrobes and slippers in the room, people had to ask for it separately! Remember I said, greedy owner, greedy in everything? There is no water in the room at all. The refrigerator is empty, and the shops inside the hotel are closed - drink from the tap! How greedy do you have to be not to put a bottle of regular water in your room? I am silent about the fact that there are some kind of greetings in the room, like two chocolates on the pillow, or a letter saying that they are glad to see you - of course this is not all. As well as no toothpaste with toothbrushes. Of course, why brush your teeth? We are in the Business Class room, do not forget about it. Do you know how a business class room differs from a regular one in hotels? Yes, nothing, you suffer, that those who are in the ordinary room. Entering my magical Business Class room, on a sacred holiday for Jews - and it was Shabbat, they immediately let me know what was waiting for me. They did repairs on me on Shabbat. Yes, they did so that I did not even hear myself when I spoke loudly. I called the reception and asked how I can relax if they drill me with such force that I will go deaf now? They told me they would fix it, but they didn't. And they didn’t fix it from the second call either. We had to evacuate from the room so as not to die from the noise that was there during the repair. I don’t know how long this miracle of renovation lasted during Shabbat, but I returned to the room only in the evening. In the evening, thank the gods, it was quiet in the room, we changed clothes after a wonderful SPA and went to dinner, where a new “pleasant” surprise awaited us. (Watch photo fro continue)
Breakfast, bed, thats is all. Spa center 10/10. NEGATIVE : Entering the Golden Crown Hotel, you find yourself in a beautiful lobby, which makes you think of a good hotel.Unfortunately, it is not.Yes, unlike many hotels in Israel, it is clear that they are trying to clean the rooms, and breakfasts and dinners (for which you pay separately) are really tasty, with a variety of different foods to choose from. But this is not a panacea for a good place. Let's start from the very beginning - the beautiful Golden Crown Hotel is located in a residential area of the city of Nazareth, this city is so-so, very dirty and full of marginal personalities. When you leave the hotel, you will just go to the road and wastelands, because if you go to this hotel, you plan to spend your main time there. For these purposes, the hotels have a spa center - Crown Spa and a gym, which are really a 10/10 place, but we are not talking about that. When you buy a room that is not cheap, such as Business Class, you expect the spa to be included in the price of your stay. But no,imagine my surprise, even if you live in this hotel in rooms that they consider to be among the best, you pay for the spa separately! Staying at a hotel doesn't even give you any discount on a spa trip! A greedy owner is greedy in everything, but more on that later. We arrived at the hotel - and we were put into a room, we were immediately surprised by several things, firstly, I could not pay for the spa from the reception, and secondly, I was offered to go down with all the things to the spa and arrange with them myself, instead of calling them from the reception and negotiate for me. Lack of service from the first minutes. When I go down to the spa, dragging 3 bags along, and by the way, why don't the hotel staff carry my bags to the room themselves? Or I didn't buy a Business Class room from them?
