Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelFood quality
The rooms were renovated clean and modern. The pool is large and there is a lot of space so it didn’t feel crowded. The toilets near the pool were not clean in the last two days when the hotel became more populated. The breakfast was decent and there is a lot of choice but the food quality could be better.

IsraelThere is no italian milk restaurant / Olives as advertised. There is no 2nd spa called gallery as advertised and the thermal pools were closed. The kids club was a disaster with the young woman in charge constantly on the phone. We gave up after 30 minutes. Music boosting all afternoon from the swimming pool. Beds matress not comfortable at all both gor the kids and adults.
Everyone is trying to adress any issue so its nice! The swimming pool is super clean and great for kids and adults. Popcorn at the pool for the kids.

IsraelThe room shower was not well equiped, towels were not good, bathtub does not have Shampoo and Shower gel so using it was rough. Outside Pool water were very hot, would be better to cool it down in the hot summer. Bed was very comfortable and firm, but pillows were too soft so it was a pitty.
We liked the location, the food in the dining room and the hotel facilities. Air conditioning was good, and we got a quiet room.

IsraelThe lunch which was not included and we bought separately which is fine. But it was same as dinner just smaller selection. Better go to nearest restaraunt. There is no direct exit from the hotel to the beach. Need take a short walk and carry the towels.
Very nice hotel, good facilities, excellent pool. Very clean and quiet. The room was very good, excellent bathroom, large bed. Amazing view from the floor 15 to the Dead Sea. There are a lot of facilities for the children, and a lot of activities. The staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier and got the room very quickly. Also the hotel has very interesting architecture. It is shaped as letter Y and some rooms have beautiful view to the Dead Sea. I highly recommend this hotel.

IsraelWe had a wonderful stay at the David Hotel at the Dead Sea. Our room had a stunning view of both the sea and the mountains — truly breathtaking. The food was delicious with a great variety at every meal. The hotel features a relaxing spa center and both saltwater and freshwater pools, which we really enjoyed. The lobby itself feels like an oasis, beautifully designed with fountains and pools filled with fish. It’s a peaceful and luxurious place, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

IsraelA bit expensive especially during weekends BUT you forget it immediately after 1 hour.
There is not even one aspect that this amazing hotel is not reflecting perfection: A, huge hotel in vast open area ( .your point of view- YPOV :much more services by more stuff. Long waiting is unheard of. B. Up to 17 fl - YPOV: - more chance to get room in the sky & look farer w/fresh air w/o noise from pool.( if you have 6 kids or more - ignore this 😀) C.unended variety of food YPOV : there is no way you cannot find at least 8 dishes you really like. By the way: I lost weight due to the need of.... only 2 meals p/day which cover my deep need 😩.to ...eat. D. 5 (!) different pools YPOV: either under really growing plants , or salty ones inhouse or swimming or getting sun w/shade that fits you. All spread allowing fantastic views always around you. E. Big rooms w/ shower & bath . YPOV : you can see vast landscapes till the horizon from every perspective . Every point is clean ( sorry for the pretty bird which used my balcony for......)

IsraelThe cofee in the room was basic - I would expect coffee machine or better cofee comaring to the high level of all the other facilities.
The staff was very kind in the reception, the dinining room and the SPA. We got an upgraded room with a teriffic view of the dead sea and Jordan (amazing sunrise) by Moran even without requesting. Both the breakfeast and the dinner were amazing with a lot of healthy food. My wife took a deep massage treatment and she was very satisisfied.

IsraelI usually stay at David Hotel every two months, but unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Firstly, the cleanliness was unacceptable. My room was never properly cleaned — not even once during my stay. The only thing that was done was making the bed. There were no towels, no bath mat, no shampoo, and even the trash was not taken out. This is simply not acceptable from a hotel of this level. Secondly, I had a very unpleasant experience at the beach. One of the staff members responsible for the sunbeds treated me very disrespectfully. He asked me rudely why I was moving the chairs and told me that my hands were dirty — which was both offensive and untrue. When I asked him to speak to me respectfully, he said he would not give me the chairs or let me sit on them. His behavior was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. This experience left me very disappointed. I hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements in both cleanliness and staff training. As a loyal guest, I expect better treatment and service
The breakfast was very good
