How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nice hotel, very clean and comfortable. Staff was exceptional. Very good location close to lots of coffee shops and stores. Had a good massage at the spa.

One of the nicest hotel I stayed in Israel. Really new feeling room and facility. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful at check in and check out. They upgraded me without asking. The room was really nice sized , great bathroom with large tub, sitting couch and super comfy bed. Location for me was great up on the top of the hill only steps away from amazing views, some restaurants and markets nearly too.

They didn’t notice that I had reserved a room with 2 twin beds and initially gave us a room with 1 queen size bed. We let them know and they rectified the issue very fast.
The location was great. The staff were accommodating and the parking was easily accessible.

The closet has a weird chemical smell - so I didn't store my clothes in it. Some mold appears in the bathroom since it doesn't have any airflow. The hotel is located near the zoo - some animal noise is heard in the morning for those who would like to sleep in.
The locations is amazing - public transport is available to every part of the city. Overnight parking at the hotel is also available for 40 NIS. The hotel is very well kept and designed thoroughly. The facilities are in a good condition. I didn't need an A/C as it was March and I only had to open the windows for a fresh air. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not - one small and extremely soft and another was mor rigid but huge (2 pillows per person). I didn't like any of those - but that is my experience, and I didn't subtract much from the score for this. I didn't choose the breakfast as I was eating out - but there was excellent tea and biscuits available. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The 4th floor at night is noisy because if the blow of the wind that hits the door all the time

Room needs some maintenance Extra cost for parking .
Clean, quiet , comfortable , refreshments in the lobby. Bottle of sparking wine in the room. Good location snd good value for price. They allowed us tío extend our stay at no cost.

The small hotel is a renovated historical building with gorgeous grounds and terraces, all contributing to a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The shared spaces are beautiful and spacious, the rooms are comfortable and offer refreshments.

A double bed should be double.
Everything was perfect: the room, the furniture, the staff. Clean and well-maintained. Private parking - a special feature, given to location. Coffee/tea/wine room in the lobby.

Great location, quiet but near the center. really nice smell as you enter the room and the hotel. Nice lobby and service. Very comfortable room, bed, pillows. Nice bathroom! Enjoyed the whole stay.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family and celebrating our anniversary. I know it sounds unbelievable but we loooved everything. Chris and Taya went above and beyond to make things easy for us and gave fantastic recommendations to us! The room was luxurious. The decor, painting and lobby were cool. Parking was more than reasonable and on location in garage. The bed was superb. The shower was good. The jacuzzi was fun. (We did not use the spa but it is very easy to access.) The location could not be better! It is next to the Zoo, short walk to scenic overlook, the top of Bahai gardens, many great cafes, the Carmelit, shops, Japanese museum…

The ac didn’t work properly at first and needed rebooting the electricity in the room. Also the coffee machine didn’t work.

Excellent location and clean beautiful rooms! David from the front desk was incredibly helpful when we had an issue with our air conditioning unit. He was extremely patient and solved the issue. Thank you David and the entire staff for a great stay!

The feather pillows were comfy but for the feel of pricking feather.

There's no breakfast at the hotel, and the spa treatments were a bad experience for us.
The deluxe room is very spacious, with a very large and comfortable bed. It was very clean too. Thanks to the room's three windows, it is naturally well-lit during daytime. The shower room is quite big but the shower itself could have been bigger. I really liked the artworks and room design, but the wardrobe closet wasn't very functional so we just kept our clothes in our carry-on suitecase. The hotel itself was very quiet during the day and night. The outside hot tub is a nice touch, especially if you get it all for yourself. Wine is offered at the reception at no additional charge, but they lack variety. Overall this is a fine boutique hotel, well worth the money. Paying extra for the hotel parking lot is recommended.

Morning light came in from the bathroom door and woke us up very early Had to wait for the check in, the front desk receptionist was away Preordered wine and chokolade, it wasn't in the room when we came in, when I asked for it, it took a while to find the order and then only the wine arrived, when I asked for the chokolade they replied they didn't have it...
