Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe room was quite hot and stuffy, especially after being out all day and being required to have the windows closed (including at night while we slept!). It would have been nice to have a fan just to circulate the air. Disappointed that there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. We came from overseas with limited baggage and most places provide these in the bathrooms. No mugs/cups in the room, only paper cups (not very environmentally friendly) at the tea/coffee station. It would have been nice to have a small fridge either in the room or in the communal area. Disappointed there were no decaffeinated options for tea or coffee. A few herbal tea bags would have been nice. The rubbish bin in the room was too small even for a short stay. There should be one in the bathroom as well.
The rooms were upstairs (the attic) of the house. Nicely laid out and spacious. Good car parking spaces including an EV charger. The bathroom was small but adequate. The room was bright with large windows. Lots of place to put your belongings. Nice tea/coffee station in the hallway.

United KingdomStruggled to hear TV but understand you need to limit volume for everyone's comfort. Window was quite noisy in the wind.
Great location just outside of Dingle but within walking distance of the town and harbour. Good communication with host, clear instructions for check in. Nice, clean room. Lovely coffee available and snacks for breakfast, ideal when you're on the move.

United KingdomIt's a little out of town and the walk in is on a road that is not really very safe for walking along. The rooms are on the first floor with no lift so if you have a large suitcase it could be a bit of an issue.
Lovely room - spacious with nice chairs and a comfy bed. Clearly kept very well and appears almost new. Tea and coffee are at the end of the corridor - which was fine. Some snack bars/biscuits provided here too. Good shower.

AustraliaI Thought the ‘king room’ would have a king bed. It did not so be careful if that’s what you want. It is a queen. My mistake -it does say extra large double but the word king did mislead me. But can’t fault the stay. Very good place.
Good location short drive direction town. Good communication. Rooms modern and lovely with a coffee bar and free snacks which was nice touch. Shower excellent ( always priority)

United StatesThe parking spaces were a touch tight but it's a minor issue!
The room was spacious and cozy, it was the perfect place to come back to after a full day out in nature. I like the layout of the room. There was a small area where I could have coffee in the morning, a vanity area, and a large open closet to hang and organize my things. I appreciate the coffee and snacks station outside in the common area. The shower was soooo lovely. Also, the location was not a bad walk into town at all. I love the view of the Irish countryside every morning. I would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomFrom the moment we booked, the hosts were helpful and friendly. The room was modern, fresh and clean. Well appointed and nicely furnished. Everything feels newly decorated. We had the option to self check-in, but by chance Joe was there when we arrived and showed us around. The view from the room is stunning. The location is beautiful and quiet, yet just a 10-minute stroll from Dingle town centre. We will definitely go back!

United StatesWe would of course have preferred if breakfast had been included as it does add to the overall cost of the break away when you have to buy breakfast separately. We were incredibly lucky with the weather during our stay. However, the walk to and from town would not have been very enjoyable if it had been pouring rain! Come prepared and definitely bring a high-viz jacket with you as part of the walk into town is on a road without a footpath. (It's a straight stretch of road but you still need to be seen.)
The minute we opened the outside door, we could smell the newness of the building! Our room was beautiful....definitely hotel standard. It was bright, spacious, spotlessly clean and the temperature was perfect for us. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Joe was very warm and welcoming. He checked in with us several times during our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The property is a short walk from the town and we really enjoyed the walk to and from the pub each night.
