The bed while comfortable, was very high. There was no chair in the room.

Matthew was friendly and helpful and provided a vegan breakfast on request. The donkeys were cute! It was quiet

Bathroom is outside the room, it is an old house that could use a little maintenance, the bed was okay for one night but not too comfortable. When we arrived at 8 30 pm on a friday we were told not to make any noise because everyone was already asleep. Bear in mind that sunset is past 10 pm. So we felt like strangers overstaying our welcome.

We wanted to experience staying on a B&B. The breakfast was amazing.

We had the room with two single beds. Unfortunately the mattresses were not in the best condition and the bathroom was very small and not perfectly clean.

Matthew is a very friendly and helpful host. The room was clean and had a new carpet in it.

exceptional time and care taken by Matthew to ensure we were well equipped to make the most of our time here. He provided excellent information both verbally and via links to our phone to help with our researching family history. Both Matthew and his mother Mary were caring and friendly creating a family atmosphere. We extended our stay beyond our initial plans because of the warmth and care extended to us. Highly recommended

It’s an older property, so if you’re are expecting something fancy, you’re in the wrong place. However, the sheets and towels were fresh and clean and it was a good value for the money.

The hosts, Matthew and Mary, were wonderful, super helpful and accommodating. Really, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable! The location is absolutely lovely, with easy parking on the property and a short quiet walk to town. A traditional Irish fryer breakfast was tasty and filling, an excellent way to start the day. Tea and fruit were readily available in the dining room around the clock:)

Walls very thin so sound carries. There was a gentlemen whose room was across the corridor from mine.He seemed to be in discomfort when he moved and was very vocal about it ,also loud on the phone which I could hear clearly.

Breakfast was a bit basic and somewhat bizarre ,not the cooked breakfast I expected. Really friendly and helpful host ,was happy to park in front of room. Happy with it considering it was the best budget deal I found in the area as price was my main consideration.

Warm, friendly greeting ... very helpful with showing the town of Cashel ... clean, comfortable room and a really nice breakfast ... compared to the extortionate prices some other places ask, Palm Grove is really good value for money

Difficult to find the location. Soft spring beds. Soundproofing could be a problem if the other patrons are noisy (we could hear the shared toilet from our room).

Well located to visit the town and Castle (±2km). Kettle and tea/coffee + snacks in the room & access to a refrigerator. Animal on site (donkeys and chickens). Lots of lights in the room.

The Palm Grove B&B was a disaster from arrival to departure.
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Twin Room
    • Stayed 1 night

Our check-in was disastrous as no one there to meet us & the lock box wasn't explained. The proprietor came briefly and then left & we in fact let two other clients into the house. The house was musty and hadn't been renovated since the 1970's. The breakfast table was a clutter of things, and the breakfast itself was terrible. We wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The location was near the town of Cashel which was fine. The room and beds were clean.
