I recently stayed at this beautiful B&B with my young son and my mum, who is in the late stages of secondary cancer. This trip was incredibly important to us — one last chance to be together in a peaceful place, away from hospitals and stress. What we found here was more than just accommodation; it was a sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such kindness and sensitivity. The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable, anticipating our needs without ever being intrusive. They welcomed us like family, offering not only hospitality but genuine care — something that meant the world to us given the circumstances. The setting was absolutely stunning — tranquil gardens, cozy rooms filled with light, and quiet corners perfect for rest and reflection. Mum was able to enjoy the fresh air and birdsong each morning, which lifted her spirits in a way I hadn’t seen for a while. My son had space to play and be joyful, which brought life and laughter into a time that’s otherwise been heavy for us. We left with full hearts. This B&B gave us a gift no words can fully capture: a gentle, memorable time together, wrapped in warmth and care. Thank you for making this chapter of our family’s story a beautiful one.

A mirror close to a plug point in the bedroom would have been useful.

The location of the B&B is close to Carlingford and the surrounding areas of interest. The host was very kind and gracious and her cooked Irish breakfast was really good. The sunny breakfast room overlooks a peaceful meadow with sheep grazing and is the ideal start for the day ahead. The room was comfortable with the basics in place.

I liked it all.

Great breakfasts. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The view from the breakfast room was superb. It’s 1.7 miles from the Village of Carlingford with beautiful views of the Cooley mountains.

Nice B&B in the hills on Carlingford Peninsula. The rooms were very clean and a decent size. A cooked breakfast in the morning started the day well. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We traveled to Carlingford for a wedding and were thoroughly impressed with the location. The surroundings are beautiful, and the accommodations were clean, situated just five minutes from the wedding venue. Our host was exceptionally gracious, even providing us with a ride to the venue and sharing taxi information for our return journey. She prepared delicious breakfast, which we greatly enjoyed.

It was 2km out of the village so not too bad but it was not a safe walk as there are no footpaths most of the way.

The breakfasts were nice with vegetarian options. The host drove us into the village on Sat evening.

bathroom was beautiful but shower could have been bit stronger - very small issue being a girl with long hair - other than that i couldn’t fault anything else the whole place was spotlessly clean.
