Lovely place to stay with great views out front, always very comfortable, and Oliver is lovely and friendly

Just a few finishings needed where repairs have been made, a bit of painting here and there in rooms

Great value for money. We had the ground floor apartment which was ideal for a family of four. My parents stayed in the budget double and were also very happy with their room.

Located in rural Kilkenny, an ideal spot for travelling to Kilkenny or Tipperary. Although our booking indicated 'no meal plan', th host Oliver invited us to have breakfast. Everything was lovely.

Good value for money, spacious room, beautiful view. Friendly and helpful host. Spacious ensuite with great shower and the offer of a continental breakfast. Oliver could not have been more helpful.

The mattress. It was uncomfortable and lumpy... probably just nearing the end of it's lifespan. Rooms were not soundproof as advertised so when other guests moved around and spoke it was like the walls were made of paper. Also road noise was pretty loud. Had it not been advertised as soundproof i wouldn't have commented.

We stayed in the end cottage with self catering facilities, it was so homely and comfortable, we loved the terrace where we could sit and have a coffee. Surroundings and views were wonderful, so peaceful. Everywhere was very clean and the owner was extremely friendly, would definitely visit again

Alot of things were unfinished and there were patches of old mould stains on some of the ceilings, but it was so lovely there we didn't mind.

The location was pefect for our travels in to Kilkenny and the surrounding countryside. Oliver was most helpful in giving us directions and he was a great host. The breakfast was continental but substantial. Lovely breakfast room. Spacious room that had everything we needed. Peaceful and quiet location to rest after busy day travelling!

There was a pleasant view over the misty fields. Tithe room had a table & chairs plus an electric kettle, microwave and toaster. We were also given access to a fridge which was appreciated. The budget double is an attic room so mind your head!

Under the bed was dirty with dust, a tissue, a wrapper & crumbs. A group arrived at 10pm on our first night. They were very noisy, talking in loud voices and banging, even slamming their door shut over 20 times. The next night was similar so we spoke to them and they did try to be more quiet. No one from management came to see how we were going during our stay.
