The mirrors were too high for shorties like me. A full length mirror in the hallway would be a nice addition.

Heather lodge is roomy and comfortable. The Woodstove was appreciated because even in July it could get chilly. The surroundings are beautiful, full of flowers, mountains and charm. The kitchen was well stocked which was important because I like to cook. Beds and pillows were comfy with high quality bedding. There is a nice tub in the bathroom with plenty of towels. The laundry room was great. Pavlina, Joe and Andrea were very responsive when help was needed.. All in all we appreciated the location and privacy and most everything about Heather Lodge. Would return if I ever get up the nerve to fly again. That is a whole other story.

There is nothing I didn’t like

I loved everything about this property,the scenery that surrounds it is breathtaking,it’s so peaceful all you hear is birds and water.inside the lodge was so cosy and had everything you could want,the beds were very comfortable ,there is a lovely village beside the lodge that has 2 good pubs one that serves food,we didn’t eat in it but it looked good,the lodge is in a great location for sightseeing .

The property is beautiful, absolutely stunning and peaceful setting. The lodge itself is so comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need, all kitchen equipment provided is really good quality too which makes all the difference when self catering. The lodge is a short walk from local pubs and cafe, but secluded so you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The caretakers are very friendly and helpful but give you total privacy. A perfect stay!

For small people some furniture is too high e.g. the mirror. Some doors to the garden were not usable.

I can't think of anything we didn't like.

Fantastic location, overlooking the Fjord and mountains. Stunning scenery whichever way you drive. The host went above and beyond to help make our stay special, even having the piano tuned for me! The cabin itself is even better than the photos. We were blown away! Everything is very comfortable and the views from the open plan living area and master bedroom are just wonderful. We were very sad to leave this special place.

Lovely, cosy house with nice views and a fireplace. Great location for travelling around. The host was great, sent all the information beforehand.

The property has a stunning location and it is beautiful with plenty of natural light, away from the road, and therefore very quiet. Everything is new and in perfect condition. The place is very spacious with nice furniture, comfortable beds, very nice cotton bed linen and towels. There are some things in the kitchen like tea, coffee, sugar, spices, oil, pasta. There are plenty of books and very good wifi. The hosts are very friendly and super helpful. There are caretakers living next door, and they were respectful of our privacy. We were allowed to check in earlier and check out late which was super kind and helpful.

We had a lovely and relaxed stay at Heather Lodge. The home and the setting were a pleasure to spend time in, and the hosts really had thought of everything. The house was very comfortable, and walking distance to the village, complete with some hens pecking around in the morning. We didn't light the stove but I can imagine getting cosy here during the winter and just spending time.

Wonderful location near the village yet private, peaceful and secluded. Outside, magnificent scenery on show all around. Inside, clean, cosy and comfortable. Perfectly located for excursions to the wonders of Conemara.

The place is spacious, cosy and very clean. It has all the facilities you need and it is completely in nature. The host was very available and flexible and keen on making sure we could enjoy the stay at the max. For instance, since it rained for 2/3 of our booked days She offered late checkout so that we could enjoy the very last day of our stay as the sun was shining. The town is small but it has all you need to rest after a day of exploring and visiting the region. There is a pub very close by, the Hamilton, where food is very good and we went there more than once. Thanks Andrea for hosting us in your special chalet.
