Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MalaysiaNot as glorious as it was.. stayed here a few times. the last one was years ago at the hotel but 1st time at the apartment. this place seems run down, huge and very beautiful apartment but didn't get to use washer dryer because was told that will only available/accessible by long stay guests(didn't find this fine prints while booking though) Rooms are so spacious, and so do the bathrooms, BUT the faucets are not working properly, and there are leaking from the tub seeping to the bathroom floor.. We took every care to prevent that happening ..to jo avail. The staff was very friendly. The in and out routes are confusing and have to stop for directions. Apparently, the car has to go through basements parking and comes out the other way for in and out

CyprusLong dark black hair in the bathroom. Also some plastic on the carpet in the room. Makes me think they didnt really cleaned it. Also the aircon was freezing cold. No switched off posibility on the wall. Put in on max heat yet didnt change at all. The place is very old. Shabby. Dark. Reminded me of The Shining. I'm sure it was amazing 40yrs ago but not cool anymore.
Beautiful gardens. Very nice breakfast. comfy bed.

RussiaOld hotel, very problematic elevator, only 2 worked bikes on very big hotel (3 bikes are broken) - we were 3 persons so we can't used it, noise isolation is not good (if sone festival or concert outside, in the room so noise), staff at reception is not good - always said yes-yes and nothing do (maybe they have a bad English, in really they understand nothing and says always just yes-yes-yes).
Big room, good waterpool, good location, tunel to conference center is convenient.

Hong KongFacilities very tired. Basic furniture and fixtures (carpeting, bathrooms, electrical sockets, light fixtures, etc.) are worn and in need of replacement. Cable television signal was constantly buffering. No major international news (BBC, CNN, Bloomberg) channels available. Wi-Fi coverage was spotty. Gym facilities were adequate but in need of updating. Pool closed at 6pm. Limited menu selection at restaurants. Breakfast was far more limited than in previous years. Labyrinth drive through the grounds to reception from the street inaccessible to ride sharing vehicles.
Excellent staff and service. City centre location. Cleanliness. Classic 1970s / 80s Jakarta grand hotel decor. Room was very quiet - as requested. Excellent housekeeping standard.

SpainThe hotel is quite outdated, elevators take forever, and there are some problems with electricity sometimes. It is VERY invoncenient accessing the hotel, grabs and taxis have to go around the facilities and parking for 10-15 minutes to get to the entrance and then again to exit as the normal entrance is blocked, which is a pain when buying food or ordering grab to go anywhere.
The hotel is right next to the exhibition center and connected by a tunnel, it's convenient. Pool area is quite nice.

IndonesiaI did find a couple of minor drawbacks during my stay. The entrance was a bit confusing as many gates were closed, making it a bit tricky to find the way in. Additionally, the atmosphere in the Kudus lobby was slightly dim. However, these issues did not diminish my overall enjoyment of my visit.
I recently stayed at the Sultan Hotel on June 11th and had a wonderful experience. The location is incredibly strategic, as I was able to walk to the main Senayan stadium (GBK) with ease. The staff were very friendly and responsive, making my stay even more enjoyable. What stood out the most were the delicious breakfast options and the serene swimming pool, which provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind.

MalaysiaDue for an upgrade/update. Walls were dirty, amenities outdated, furnishings were outdated. Could be cleaner as well. Was put up on a smoking floor and it smelled like someone is smoking 24/7 in there.
The staff speaks great English and they were extremely friendly and accommodating; m for once, I could communicate with them easily and the location is near to the stadium so if you’re heading for concerts there, this would be a great location.

SingaporeWashrooms can be improved. The shower was pretty old and needs repair/change.
The hotel property is huge, I really like the open area people can roam around freely and take fresh air. Hotel room was clean, quite good in size, the window was having sufficient sun light. Breakfast had many options, the staff was friendly and soft spoken. If you really like to jog, run and exercise in open, clean area then it's the best choice. 9 tennis courts, a very good swimming pool highlight. It's walking distance from IDX building and Pacific Place Mall. The MRT station is just right next to the building.
