Reviews of Sambahan Inn

The location is excellent and allowed us to easily walk to the centre of Ubud. There is a medium sized supermarket very close by and I highly recommend Warung Makan, which is not far, for breakfast. The Fersy laundry is also very close and convenient with full service so you just drop off your laundry and pick it up later that day. The swimming pool is lovely and everything is surrounded by a nice garden.

The mattress on the bed was a bit too hard for our liking. You may also be slightly disturbed by the crowing of the rooster from a nearby property that starts at about 5:45 AM (in summer). I noticed that ear plugs were supplied (I guess to stop water when swimming) so you could use them but we didn't mind the rooster so this wasn't an issue for us.

Kindest people working there (helped us a lot while I was sick as well!), beautiful room combining modern comfort with traditional style with a gorgeous view. Very convenient location for a very good price too!

Very good experience. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the house was lovely too.

Really beautiful space, simple, clean room, modern elements but the pool and outside area were beautiful and natural. Staff were friendly and attentive. Location was also perfect to access central ubud but also to head out to waterfalls/rice terraces etc.

Nothing. Maybe a little noisy when the fire dancing shows were on or with roosters in the morning but you get that pretty much anywhere and didn't detract for me.

The easiest check in! Everything was fantastic! Clean room, friendly staff and fab pool to cool down in!

We had a fantastic stay at Sambahan Inn. The staff were all very friendly.The rooms were very clean and spacious and came equipped with a fridge which was convenient. We also had a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden and pool. The pool was incredible. We were surprised to not see any pictures of the pool in the advert because I think its a huge selling point and nice way to escape the Ubud heat. It's also very well located. There are loads of amenities just down the road i.e fruit/juice stands, coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets. Ubud palace is also a 5 minute walk away. We've been backpacking for almost 3 months now and this was probably the nicest place we've stayed at during our trip. Highly recommend!

Not strong air conditioning

Bungalow style, pool area was lovely, clean, well maintained, our room had a large patio area

The enivronment of the hotel looks like a temple & a lot of plants allaround the hotel was cozy

The flow capacity of hot water was small & some area in the hotel were under construction

Staying here felt like a retreat as it was so peaceful. The garden and nature is stunning and the pool a perfect place to relax. The staff are friendly and the location is perfect, close to the action but still a quiet place to wind down.

The location was perfect and very central. You can walk to and from Ubud center without problems. Also, even though I didn't have breakfast in the morning the neighbors seemed to enjoy it and it looked great.

Location is good and the staff was super nice.

Very different from the pictures. The door didn’t really lock (or wasn’t really secure). Plus some holes always stayed open making it easy for bugs and mosquitoes to come in. It was not clean and rather dusty plus there were still dead mosquitoes on the walls. We also had a lizard in our room. I’ve stayed in many stays in this price class and this was one of the most disappointing ones.

Location was great, and staff even better. So warm and welcoming and were very flexible.

There was some renovations at the property but honestly it didn’t take away from the place!

This is the third time I stay in this place and I love how calm, peaceful, comfortable and well located it is, even if so close to the city center.
