Wow our stay was more than perfect! The room was clean, spacious and very nice. The highlight of our stay was the hospitality of the owners/hosts ! They made sure everything was more than perfect. We can’t recommend enough this place, the absolute best in Ubud. We we are back, we will absolutely stay there again!

Ubud is busy. This is walkable within 5 mins to the Palace, but quiet. The owners are absolutely fabulous - welcoming, kind, helpful - what a wonderful set up. Magical.

Ayu is a very skilled master. The reviews here were all written honestly, and if you have read all the reviews, you can make a reservation. Ubud's lodge cannot be free from insects, especially ants, but I stayed here for three days and did not see any ants. And Ayu's breakfast was very delicious and hearty. You can't book a lodging like this in Indonesia at this price. The small rooms are decorated in a traditional style and the large rooms are decorated in a modern style. In particular, I was on a tour of the East due to a sudden change in plan, and I was so grateful that Ayu called me a taxi and I was able to tour comfortably. Anyway, if I go to Bali again next time, I really want to revisit this accommodation.

Our FAVOURITE accommodation in Indonesia. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to Ubud. The accommodation is run by a very friendly and welcoming local family. We felt at home. The space is beautiful and our particular room had a lovely balcony and view whilst also feeling private. We were walking distance to town but not on a busy street, plenty of lovely places to eat nearby. You can also buy a great breakfast at the accommodation if you wish. The space was clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Jero Griya Ubud. The hotel is centrally located and easy to access. The room was very large and very comfortable. Ayu, the host, was the nicest person I met during my long vacation. I don't think you could find a better place in the city. You don't feel pressured at all, whether you're having breakfast or checking in or out. You can always ask any questions and get assistance.

Spacious room, very clean and has everything you need. Very quiet and we enjoyed to spend time with the friendly cats! Only a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre with many cafes and warungs on the way. The owners are very friendly and make you feel right at home. They are very flexible with check in and out times (if possible), so you can fully enjoy your stay.

This is the most beautiful place to stay in Ubud. I have never been welcomed so warmly anywhere else before! The location, the room, and the shared outdoor areas were all incredible. This was our first visit to Bali and we could not have chosen a better hotel to stay in. The location is perfectly placed near to many local sights. Our accommodation was superb with all facilities as described. Biggest shout out though goes to Ayu, she has a permanent smile on her face and was the perfect hostess! Our breakfast was amazing, a great start to the day. This was our first hotel in Bali, and what a find! Thank you so much Ayu ❤️ x

It was a GREAT experience!!! It was a shame we only stayed there for two nights, we would have stayed more days. Everything was nice, the room had spectacular views and waking up to that was a highlight. Very peaceful, all was clean and brand new room. We walked to the center very easily and at the hotel they have more bikes to rent also. They are in good condition and was easy to do. Everyone super friendly and helpful with everything.

The lighting is a little dark especially in the bathroom. Hard to shave in mirror for example. There is no glass on tub so water gets everywhere.

Our host was SO nice and lovely to chat with. The compound was gorgeous (tons of mosquitos, be aware) and our room was so nice. Big, comfortable bed, AC cools pretty quickly. Location is good — 10 mins to the main road, but not loud or too far. Coffee place next door is very solid. The owner found out I loved passion fruit and brought me 8 to eat which was amazing 😻
