It's a difficult site to maintain. We had a terrible storm which caused problems with the hot water, probably the pilot blowing out. The Indonesian food is good, the western food basic.

The water pressure at the bathroom was very small. Hot and cold water at the bathroom sometimes not function well.

Hard to get there even by car because hotel is on the hill and has a very difficult road. We had to wait very long for dinners. Meals from their kitchen could taste better since it’s the only option there around. Far away from any civilization;) Hotel is still under construction and the starting working in the morning.

Such a shame that the property has been allowed to deteriorate- We really found it quiet disappointing considering the cost and the word resort should be to moved !! It’s just like the place has been abandoned by its owners and the poor staff ( Have been left struggling

No hot water No shower pressure (like being spat on) Poorly trained unmotivated staff - you have to manage them yourself to get the very basics Bugs don't bother me, but if they do you, be prepared. You're going to be Living with them. Very poor 'road' to the property Raw food served on one occassion Lack of drinks menu Forget locking the door - a slight nudge or kick and you're in Shoddy furniture

This place is all about the view - stunning! But sadly that's where it ends.

We stayed five nights at Edge Resort and it was a wonderful experience. The view from this property which is set in a large forested area is absolutely stunning, the only sound you hear are the crickets and the breaking waves, which makes for perfect relaxation, the air is clean the room is spacious with very comfortable bed, the staff treated us as if we were celebrities. Watching the sunset from the beautiful pool is a priceless experience. This is a resort built by people who clearly respect and care for the environment, it is clean (no garbage anywhere) no plastic, instead you receive a generous supply of drinking water in reusable glass bottles. breakfast was very generous with delicious fresh fruits and a choice of different meals. The bed is very comfortable and all rooms have beautiful views. Smoking is not allowed in the verandah restaurant which is a very pleasant change from most places. Sad to leave, but hoping to return

Being difficult to reach, the place should have good amenities and complete necessities. The food sucks and the seafood is not fresh. Which is ironic, being very close to the sea

Regarding the water facility, the water was off during our stay and the internet facility was poor. That made it uncomfortable.

The view is amazing, perfect for those who need to refresh their minds. The staff is quite responsive.

Outstanding views from the resort, nice pool and restaurant. Gua Langse is nearby and a very nice excursion. Note, there is no direct access to the beach from the property, 5km by scooter or car (on a steep road).

transportation to the city or to the beach is very hard, shuttle costly I wish they had a free shuttle because you have to hike for at least 3 miles from the hotel at tha top of the hill down to the closest beach
