Breakfast was a disappointment, my noodle soup was just plain instant noodles soaked in not so hot water, was still hard when it was served to me. And I paid for my breakfast. It is better to just walk out of the hotel and have your meal outside. They are plenty of options.

Easy access to Malioboro, yet tucked away from the crowd and noise. Love to chill out at the roof top area. Room is basic and pretty small.

Since it is very family friendly there was a lot of kids running around the hallways playing and making noise early in the morning and late at night

Room was very hot when we come in with aircon shut down. When we switch on aircon it was not working well (lack of cold power). Someone came to "repair" but not sure something was done. We asked a send key pass to leave switch one when going out to keep temperature reasonnably down, but it is not normal. For 2 nights it was ok.

Room confortable, very good service. Good self for breakfast (but mainly indonesien style). Situation at short walking distance from railway station (no need of taxi with a backpack) and close to maliboro, in a street full of warung. Very convenient. Possible to book tour with the hostel convenient if your are short of time.

Our room was very small and did not have a fridge. The one lady serving for dinner was not in the room most of the time and we had to wait too long to get service both nights for each order. We only orded 4 beers while there but they ran out of Bintang Pilsner.

This hotel has a very large childrens play room on the roof and most of the guests there were young Indonesian families with children. This is a great hotel for families with young children. The reception was very good and I needed two pages of a document printed which the staff did promptly and gratis. The location is about 250m from the centre of Marlioboro street which is the main street in Yogyakarta. The food in the restaurant was good.

The storage/ wardrobe could be better. There were no stairs, just lift to go up and down. A small fridge in the room would help.

The personnel of the Fortuna Grande is outstandingly friendly! Elda and Lisna were very helpful and went out of their way to provide us with informations we needed for our onwards travels. Zulaikhah and her crew at the breakfast were also always caring.

No hand towels, AC was leaking in the room. Lady morning reception who answered my call was cold.

The security at the front, was helpful and pleasant to assist, named Taufiq. Another one who helped me on my check out date as well. Trainee of reception was decent, even he did a small mistake but I was totally ok. He didn't informed me when the room was ready, as he mentioned this before by kept my number. Lady Trainee in evening shift was fabolous, she was great by answering my inquiries and handles the check in for other guest very well. Room was clean, tidy. Close to malioboro area, walk for 3 minutes only. Plenty choices of foods stall, attractions and easy to go anywhere around the city.

Really, there's only one thing... all rooms must have a bar fridge.

This was our second stay at Fortuna Grande, which really says it all. The staff were exceptional. Cleaning was impeccable. The rooms were large enough and comfortable, and the location was central to Maliboro.

The room was large, yet didn’t have space to hang many clothes. There was not closet so I needed to live out of my suitcase

Bathroom was old.

The staff were absolutely nice, educated and attentive with me. They helped me to arrange a tour to Borobudur and Prambanan, as well as tic-tuc to the train station on my way to Bromo. The room was ok even though I think it was over-priced for the location. It is not a 4 star-hotel although it is for the place. Happy I did not book a hotel in Malioboro, insane how crowded it was.
