Reviews of 1BD guest house in family compound1, 15 minute walk to yoga barn

The two bedrooms, 1 and 2, made of bamboo are nice looking and the terrace/balcony each one has to chill out. Different breakfast everyday: pancake and fruit, and egg with toast and fruit.

Unfortunately, we wouldn't repeat since the place is run down and needs cleaning. We had to clean the bathroom as it was very dirty. The place needs TLC. Construction going on next door so you can hear and see builders all the time as they work and sleep there. In terms of location is in the heart of Ubud, next time I would stay less central and have some respite.

The breakfast was good.

The rooms were not clean at all! We booked two rooms for two nights, and we decided to leave after the first night. There were stains on the bed sheets, and the room was dusty. There were two massage beds in the 2nd-floor room as beds. It was so dirty that we couldn't stand it. (There were rosters next door and making noise the whole night. )

I really like the balcony area, in the room with twin bed. Breakfast good :)

We absolutely loved our stay, the location if fantastic and the owners are the nicest ! Breakfast is also really good.

Amazing hosts—a lovely family, including a grandma with a radiant smile! Everyone is so warm and welcoming, always smiling. The house, built in true Balinese style, gives off incredible cultural vibes. They serve delicious pancakes and fresh fruits for breakfast. Just 5 mins walk to Ubud central.

There is nothing i didnt like. But if they want to consider one area for improvement, it’s the toiletries. Instead of just soap, they could provide body wash and shampoo.But for the price paid, it’s not a big deal.

Very nice little guest house right in the middle of UBUD. Nice rooms, good breakfast. Had to extend our stay for another week, didn’t have enough! 🙂

Beautiful Balinese family property excellent location central within Ubud.

Location, the welcome by the sweet owner, the balcony, the beautiful garden, its very well locate it!

The room needs to be and look cleaner, outside areas are super well but the room and bathroom didnt feel that clean, a little bit of paint in stains in the wall, a bit of a strong cleaner in bathroom, better air condirion maintenance/cleaning of dust, would make this a perfect place!

I didn’t get to meet the owner she seems like she doesn’t live there but I got to meet her mom who’s the sweetest person ever. With a little bit of English and a lot of love we’re able to form a journey beyond cultures and differences. Without this connection my stay would have been nice but thanks to this beautiful old lady I felt welcomed and loved 💜

If you come with a tourist mindset “nothing bad about it” you might think the food is basic or the bathroom is old or not clean enough. But for me it wasn’t the luxury I was looking for but the experience. I think for this price the whole experience was great. 😊

The location was really good, and the place is so bey, our room was spacious and comfortable, also the people are so kind and welcoming, we had a lovely time there :)

Super spacious and beautiful homestay in the middle of Ubud center. The family is so sweet and prepared breakfast for us. The room is spacious, clean and with lots of furniture to put our stuff, great wifi also!

the twin room was upstairs and there was no real roof or windows so there were insects in the room at night. there are mosquito nets though, so that helps

Location is amazing right in the center in ubud, and the room is set away from the street so you hardly hear any city noise. Room is super cute, clean bathroom, super comfortable beds, and a really nice private lanai to chill on with couches :) breakfast was pancakes and fresh fruit with Bali coffee and tea options, brought up to your personal lanai by the sweet auntie! They were so accommodating for any of our needs. The WiFi works really well as there is an extender on the balcony. Hot water in the shower was a nice surprise after so many places with only cold. Literally not one complaint about the entire stay. Will definitely be booking again on my next trip to Ubud! Thank you so much for everything 😍

Literally nothing, everything was perfect and what a great price with incredible value for the costs.
