We are early risers and having people sleeping in the living/dining room meant it was hard to prepare and eat breakfast without disturbing them. The kitchen was ok but only one plug-in cooktop worked and there was only one same tea towel for three days for the many guests.

Location was great and the ageing Art Nouveau details. Having a kitchen (though not fully equipped). Window to the street. The price was good and the mattresses too.

The check-in process was quite complicated. The host provided a 3-minute video explaining how to access the key box, but the mechanism was faulty and needed fixing, making it unnecessarily difficult to open. Additionally, the listing did not clearly indicate that the apartment was a SHARED accommodation with common areas (kitchen and bathroom). I initially thought I had booked a private apartment, but I ended up sharing the space with other guests. In fact, the two girls who booked the adjacent room were also unaware that it was a shared apartment, so I don't believe this was solely my misunderstanding. Unfortunately, the other occupants were extremely noisy. Both adjacent rooms were occupied by loud groups who stayed up late, making noise and gathering in the common area. The walls were thin, which meant I could hear everything, including some things I'd rather not describe. The bathroom was another downside. It was small and inconvenient, and the shower was only separated by a curtain, which left a rather unappealing impression. Overall, since I was only staying for one night and didn't need much, it wasn't a huge issue. However, I definitely wouldn't choose to stay at Spark Apartment again.

The price is quite affordable for the location, which is relatively close to the city center, making it a good option for budget travelers. Also, the host seemed friendly and responsive – she replied quickly to my messages and provided all the necessary information for the check-in.

The price is excessively high for the space and service you receive. It is a shared apartment more expensive than the average private apartment and you receive the same or less.

The location is very convenient. In a silent, accessible and historical area of the city. You have everything very close, transportation, food and tourist places. Plus it's a clean place.

The host didn't show up at the agreed time. I called him on the phone (we called from two different numbers, to make sure) he didn't pick up. I wrote on the booking platform, no answer. I waited about half an hour, and then had to book something else. Contacted Customer Service (it's pending). A few hours later I received 4 calls within one minute, from a number that was not associated with the property (on booking's site), and then a message from the host, telling me that he was there (allegedly, somebody was checking out in the afternoon), and called me so many times, and that he doesn't understand why I didn't call him (well, I did). I cannot decide wheter or not this is a scam, however, in the building there was nothing that would indicate that this place is there.

It was a huge apartment in the center of Budapest. There were 3 or 4 rooms, but at the moment we were the only guests. There were also 2 bathrooms. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed.

The "bed in shared bedroom" isn't a bedroom, there are 2 beds in the middle of the living room. The thing is, if anybody leaves early in the morning or arrive at midnight, they are more than probably going to wake you up.

The amenities are great for the price. There is an oven, an electric kitchen, a fridge, lockers, and the bathroom was all right. The host also gave us coffee, sugar and tea. For the price, highly commendable.

Should be noted that there is a late checkin fee that’s not mentioned in the description. Even though the late checking process is just a key in the lockbox the same way as checkin during the day. Checkin instructions were also not all sent and the owner still demanded our payment even though we couldn’t get into the property without contacting her. The common shared areas (Lounge, kitchen, bathroom) are fairly messy, can tell they aren’t only used for the guests staying, it’s almost like a second house for the owner. There was also someone staying in the lounge clearly for some extra money from the owner. The main pictures used on the listing are not representative of the property and are just showing churches etc. This is not the property at all. The room pictures are accurate but there is none of the reception or lounge/bathroom areas. Have also seen the owner try and reply to these reviews with excuses etc so be aware for that.

I really liked how helpful and open they were and that it was on the first floor. I also appreciated their support when I left some of my stuff accidentally. We booked on the same day we arrived and it wasn't an issue at all.

the mattress is too soft for me, and one more thing I don't like is the light button is outside of my room, not that convenient.

The location is very close to Nyugati train station, the neighbor is quiet. You wouldn't be worry for any noise, the owner is quite friendly and helpful.
