No air conditioning in the room (can be tricky in July and August) but overall not a huge problem, even though temperatures during the day were very high, in the room the ambience was decent if windows were kept open to allow air to circulate (especially at night). The main issue for me was with the length of the bed, if you are over 180cm it can be a little short depending on how you position yourself during the sleep..

Great place, beautiful terrace with view on the river and the park, wifi working perfectly, nice and well equipped kitchen, very nice and kind staff, everything was kept clean.

My second stay at this hostel. Amazing atmosphere, the place is surrounded by lots of cool restaurants/bars. The place is comfortable, cozy, pretty big rooms. A special pleasure to stay in the terrasse. You feel welcomed there. Definitely recommend the place for staying. Do not forget to pet a ginger cat. ))))

Great location on margeret island. Staff work hard all day keeping facilities clean. Cheap laundry service. Great roof terrace and sociable area. If had air-conditioning would be a solid 10.

I really like this place! Firstly, it is well located and very close to the city centre. Secondly, it has everything: a washing machine and a dryer, a kitchen, dishes, a toilet and a shower in each room, a beautiful terrace overlooking the river; thirdly, a very nice woman at the reception who will tell you everything and show you everything; I really liked everything here: the price, the cleanliness, the amenities, and the availability of everything you need. There is also a bar and restaurants very close by, so you can have breakfast here too. Overall, thank you very much for this place and I wholeheartedly recommend this place and wish everyone to stay here!

Even though I stayed there while the temperatures weren't too high (in May), the room was very stuffy and humid. Most likely due to the river and the fact that there were four people sleeping in a small room.

The location is lovely, also the lady at the front desk was very nice.

Excellent hostel, location on a cozy island that will not leave anyone indifferent, the only thing you need to take into account is the transport accessibility later in the day, namely the time of your check-in, try not to be late like me:)

This is Budapest, and it is a hostel, so there were people coming back to the room very late at night and making a lot of noise. As with any hostel, having a sleep mask and earplugs are important!

Very cool location, having the terrace there was wonderful, so nice to walk around the island. Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed me to leave my bags for a couple hours after checkout, which was much appreciated. Also nice to have the kitchen available!

Rooms were quite hot but a fan was provided in each room

Edith was absolutely amazing. Assisted me in each question I had, provided such a great service and made me feel very comfortable. She provided me with recommendations on where to go and how to get there, places to see, restaurants and bars to visit. Couldn't recommend her enough. In terms of the room, it was lovely. Fairly comfortable beds, I had good roommates and lockers were provided for our belongings. I would 100% recommend this hostel especially as its right in the middle of both buda and pest sides.

Nothing at all!

The hostel was absolutely lovely, stunning views, excellent facilities and the staff are all super helpful and friendly especially the manager who made me feel at home from day one and was very easy to chat to and gave me anything i needed to make my stay great. The rooms were very nice, all very very clean and comfortable and the private terrace just made the place very special because even on the days i was not our sightseeing it was still like a little bit of paradise The island is full of things to entertain and the pub which is attached to the hostel had the BEST burgers ive had in years i couldn't stay away Id definitely go back and would recommend to anybody thinking of traveling to Budapest

The staff was nice in general, the girl let me stay over the time to dry my hair but at some point when I was in the common area she announced me at 11.30 that I need to leave the premises in a very firm manner. I know she was respecting the rules but I was taken by surprise at this was the first hostel in a month travel where I couldn t hang out not even on the terrace after checkin out from the room. I was happy that they let me keep the luggage tho.

Check in is a bit late, old days most places 2pm bit easier to then check-in and go around. As it's a bit out of center not easy to just go run back to check in

There's a party place next door so the music at night was a bit loud in the room where I stayed, however, the hostel acknowledges that issue and has earplugs available for purchase. The lockers under the bed are a great solution for space saving, however they're a bit noisy if someone is trying to sleep next to it. There's no option to open them partially, they have to be completely pulled from under the bunk bed to be able to open the storage/locker.

I loved the location and the view from the balcony, quirky little space and will definitely be back! Staff is kind and welcoming, space has many hand-painted details and I loved staying here. People I've met are also really nice and feels like the hostel has a lot of character and a soul to it. Many options to chill in either a chair, hammock, sofa, love the outdoor lights in the balcony and the fact that there are fans on the room ceiling if it's getting too hot. There's a sweet little orange cat whom I could briefly pet during my stay which was a bonus for sure!

Everything was just great.

Superb vibe, unique location, fantastic terrace, spacious kitchen. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Keys are automatically provided for the lockers, no need to bring your own padlock. Everything you see in the pictures is real but even better! I have travelled many countries and cities and stayed at dozens of hostels, hands down this place us in the top I have ever been to. All my fellow travellers appeared to be having a great time as well.

Great location, central to Budapest! Cool common area outside which is a nice place to hang out. Staff are very welcoming, felt comfortable from the moment we checked in, and they also gave us great tips & recommendations on the area. We ended up extending 2 nights because we really enjoyed this stay :)
