We were in a bungalow that was very dirty, dark and with lots of spiders. It felt like they never cleaned behind the beds.

The house could have been a bit more cleaner. And bees were somehow entering house easily.

It is a great place for family to stay. We enjoyed our time. They have a lot of facilities inside which makes place even more interesting. Lake was very close to the hotel and sauna, jakuuzi, pool services were good. Breakfast is excellent.

Some of the neighbours were incredibly loud and partying for most of the time in their bungalows. We saw some people lying drunk on the floor outside their bungalows. Just be prepared that you might not be able to always appreciate the peaceful nature surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful, although they struggled speaking in English. They mostly speak Hungarian and some German.

The location of the bungalow in the woods close to the lake is really nice, there were even some exotic sounding birds singing in the trees. The kids loved the retro wooden design of the bungalow with the stairway to the second floor. The included breakfast buffet was good, and we even enjoyed the convenient dinner buffet (we paid extra for this) in the evening with a lakeside view. It's great that the swimming pool is included for free, and has changing rooms and towels provided. The parking was convenient and quite close to the bungalow. It's also nice that there is a grocery store and shop in the complex, so you don't really need to leave the place if you just feel like relaxing. There are lots of sunbeds that you can use along the lake front, which was really nice with some great views. We were also fascinated to discover a variety of interesting wildlife along the lake front, like frogs, lizards, and even snakes (I'm sure that they are of the harmless variety)!

The bungalows smell a bit moldy; comfortable but could use a once-over for mold.

It's a wonderful place, situated next to a national park with hiking trails and incredible views of the lake. The lake itself is swimmable and you can rent a paddleboard to commune with the swans. LOVED it!

Our stay at Tihany Bungalows was truly magical. Cozy cabins surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views of Lake Balaton — it felt like a dream. The spa with panoramic windows was an absolute highlight: soaking in warm water while gazing out at the lake and sky was pure serenity. Every morning we were greeted by swallows, and during the day we spotted little lizards darting over the stones — a beautiful glimpse of wildlife in a peaceful setting. Everything here invites you to slow down, recharge, and simply enjoy the moment. We will definitely come back — it’s one of those rare places that stays with you.

Well, where to start? - Breakfast and evening buffet very top!! - Staff, either reception, Spa,, security... extraordinary friendly, an experience I probably barely had before - Room bigger than expected, very clean and tidy, kitchen very well equipped (micro, coffee machine,..), additional pillows, towels, ...everything available - SPA, swimming pool, gym, outside wellness and entertainment very comfortable - sailing/surfing, paddling, all available on this property - beach very nice, - small grocery right next to the property entrance - tihany itself very nice and quiet - ...

The small garden area outside the bungalow was just bare earth. Would be nicer to be planted out so you could use it.

Stayed in a timber bunglow- so cute! Very retro 70s vibe- loved all the timber paneling and the mezzanine bedroom. Kitchen was small but well equipt- we cooked dinner and enjoyed it in the living room. We visited at the start of the season - felt like maybe it hadn't been opened up since last summer. This was easily fixed by opening a few windows and sweeping away a couple spiders. We only stayed one night but made use of the lake side, adventure pool and sauna facilities. Was definitely fun! Would love to come back in peak season when the nightclub etc is open.
