How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The codes for the doors were not sent to us and we had to message property to get access to the door to be able to check in.

Smell from toilet or shower. Air conditioning didn't work for a day. But did get fixed. Tv channels worked randomly. Had about 4 or 5 consistently the rest were temperamental. Bed quilt was too small for the cover. Pillows were massive but mattress was comfortable. 2 key cards would have been nice.
The location was great. View from the room was very pleasant. It's in an old building with character. Ease of access when getting into the building. Daily room service. Bed turndown. Overall room was a good size.

things to be noted: there is an elevator, but you still need to carry your luggage on your own for the first and the last floor; the lock on the gateway is not functioning well sometimes. If you found you cannot press it, use WhatsApp to connect with the staff immediately
Fantastic location. Right between two castles and the parliament. You have everything in walking distance that you can have a good rest between two stops. Apartment was in good condition, supplying everything you need during the trip.

It's not clear from the pictures that there is a toilet in the room. That was the most unpleasant thing.
The location is perfect, within walking distance of almost all the sights. The bed is very comfortable.

The location is great, close to lots of attractions and also to the Danube. There is a supermarket close by as well as several restaurants and pubs. Check-in and check-out is very easy and convenient. I love that you can choose the temperature of the room very easily by yourself. Was definitely not the last time I stayed there.

A really great place — cozy, nicely renovated with good furniture, and everything is well thought out. The only small downside is the distance from the center. It’s about a 20-minute walk across the bridge to the main walking areas. But that might actually be a plus if you’re looking for some peace and quiet.

A light bulb not working and the shower wand holder doesn’t hold in place above bottom.

Couldn’t plug the kettle in, no usb charger, no coat hook. Dusty lap and wall by the bed. Banged my head on the wall when turning away from the wardrobe because it’s such a tight space

The shower head was leaking and the toilet seat was a bit wobbly (although maintenance was called by the owner after I mentioned it, nothing changed).
The owner was very responsive and tried to be accommodating. Location is quiet but not far from all the attractions.

The sound insulation of the toilette cabin is unfortunately not good. The room was a bit dark, because it has only a small window.

The toilet & shower are essentially in the bedroom so if you aren't comfortable with your travel partner, prepare to be! We actually found that the shower wasn't a problem at all however the toilet being in a glass cubicle with the opaque glass leaving little to the imagination very intrusive and quite uncomfortable however the biggest issue is that if one of us needed to use the toilet in the night, turning the light on meant that the entire room lit up causing the other person to wake up. We felt this could be easily solved by putting a curtain rail up to cover the wall of glass running behind the tv, allowing some privacy to the user but also some protection from your room turning into Blackpool illuminations!
The bedroom was small but perfect for our short stay, very clean and comfortable! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was really handy to receive so much info on how to get into the building, where to retrieve keys, which room was ours etc (all via a pre-made video which made our lives so much easier), we got the same for our check out which made the entire experience seamless. We had a very minor issue with the drain in our sink - this was fixed within an hour of messaging our host!
