A Hidden Gem Brought to Life by Professional Management I recently stayed at the Keight Hilton in Opatija and was pleasantly surprised—truly a big, big surprise. The facility is elegant, well-operated, and reflects the standards you’d expect from an internationally managed brand like Hilton. Croatia has immense potential, but what it often lacks is consistent, professional hospitality management. This stay confirmed my belief: Croatia needs more facilities managed by international hotel groups. The difference in service quality, attention to detail, and overall experience is striking. With more properties operated at this level, Croatia could genuinely become a pearl of the Mediterranean, not just in beauty but also in service excellence. I liked the place. I liked how it ran. And I left convinced that this is the way forward.

🌟 Unforgettable stay at a top-class hotel! 🌟 This hotel truly exceeded all expectations. Located right on the seafront, brand new (only one year old), modern, and finished to the highest standard. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless — we left our car at the entrance and a staff member parked it in the underground garage. Early check-in was provided, and our room was spacious with a huge bathroom featuring a tropical shower and bathtub. High-quality toiletries were available in generous amounts. We even had a clothes steamer and a coffee machine in the room — every detail was thought through. After I accidentally stained the bedding, housekeeping kindly replaced it the next day — no questions asked. We truly appreciated that. And the breakfast — absolutely next level! Everything fresh, premium quality, with an amazing variety (even truffle salami!). Plus, à la carte options — we had eggs Benedict with salmon, and even champagne and smoothies were available. So much to choose from, and everything was delicious. No crowds, just a relaxing atmosphere inside or on the terrace. The staff deserve a special mention — incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. 💫 Highly recommend this hotel — we will definitely be back!

The only drawback is the spa area where the “relaxation room” was constantly opened by children and their parents because of access to water, fruits etc. Children also talked in that area which should not be allowed. Refreshment area should then be removed to somewhere else. Also, spa should be closed off for children under 12 if they cannot behave themselves, it ruins the whole experience as it is not the biggest spa facility. The same applies for the rooftop bar. Children kept constantly running around and screaming in circles throughout the whole bar and it ruins the concept of a relaxing rooftop bar. Hotel should perhaps decide to be adult only simply because of a lack of space. It is simply a smaller surface area and very exclusive to satisfy both.

I absolutely loved the hotel and would stay again.

Finally a luxury hotel Opatija deserves. Beautifully designed hotel, super nice staff, overall wonderful experience. We especially enjoyed rooftop bar. Breakfast was great, many healthy choices. Room is really comfortable. I really loved wall decoration and overall design of the hotel. We stayed both in Hilton Opatija and Rijeka, and while both are nice, and Rijeka has unmatched sea views, we prefer feeling of care in this hotel - from design to really nice staff.

Hotel is small enough not to feel crowded, rooms spacious with big comfy beds, sexy bathrooms, design is considered through out the hotel. We loved the spa experience and especially thai massage. Rooftop bar has some fabulous views and outdoor pool. Staff extremely helpful and kind. We hope to visit again.

The view from the room is what it is. The reception is unusually small and may cause slight discomfort if someone else is there at the same time, but this is a minor issue.

The room was very nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent, as was the service. We didn't use the pool or spa. The location is great.

I would say that parking is overpriced , 30 euros a day it’s not even in Monte Carlo

Great location, uncommon specious room, design, service … Hotel has all the facilities you need .it was a pleasure to see so many young and professional people around, front desk , bar , bell boy !!
