Nothing, everything was perfect.

That was the cleanest place we have ever stayed at! And Gorjan was the best host!! He made sure we found the place okay, checked us in, and then offered to show us around the city. It was already 10pm at night! We said yes and he showed us around, taking us to the best authentic meat sandwich place and showed us where to get gelato after. He even walked us back home. We have never had such an amazing host like him before! When we checked out he walked us to the ferry and showed us what boat to get on and even waited with us. Gorjan is amazing!! Now about the place...fantastic!!! So clean! Super cute! The amount of detail in the place itself and the decorations!! Wow! There were even some local tasty treats for us in the fridge. Our room was really spacious for being the smallest of the 3 (we had the lavender room). It was perfect! And as soon as you walk out the door you're steps away from the heart of the town. We couldn't have asked for a better location. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!! I'm so glad we stayed here.

The apartment is in the old town and you can walk everywhere. The apartment has beautiful unique decor and also provides all essentials. The fridge was even filled with cold bottled water and little cakes! Good wifi, AC, and very clean. Gorjan’s hospitality was exceptional - It was so easy to communicate with him and he offered his help for anything. He insisted on carrying our bags up and down the stairs and helping us to our car, even when we needed to check out in the early hours of the morning. Perfect stay.

From the begining to the end everything was wonderful. The location is very close to everywhere and easy to find. Gorjan was the best host i have ever seen.. Since we booked the the room he started to help us until we leave. Last day he came to say bye very early morning and help us to carry luggages to our car.. Hope to come back again.

Great location and service. Yes, there were stairs, but this family run operation had the son meet us at the train and not only guide us to the apartment, but he also hauled the luggage up all of those stairs. An effort much appreciated. Great local restaurant recommendations; flawless communication and same courtesy of carrying luggage down the stairs on check out. Comfortable, cozy, welcoming.

We loved our stay in Split! The apartment is in the perfect location, very clean, and beautifully designed with unique touches like hand-painted doors and handmade art. The hosts went above and beyond, picking us up, helping with our luggage, and even carrying it down to the port when we left. Highly recommend!

Stairs! However wouldn’t put me off staying here again. Such a beautiful place.

Such a beautiful property in the heart of the Old town. The host couldn’t have done more. There were 3 flights of stairs and Gorjan carried everyone of our bags to our rooms! 💪 Very individual rooms. Attention to detail was amazing and super clean. Gorjan even gave us a tour of the Old Town after we’d unpacked.

Nothing! It’s up a few flights of stairs, so could be tricky if you have mobility issues, but Gorjan carried our bags up and down each time.

Loved this place! Gorjan and his family were such kind hosts, going above and beyond to accommodate us by carrying our luggage, meeting us at our ferry, providing us with extra towels for an excursion we took, and also offering amazing recommendations! The property is super unique with fairy tale-like decor, and all the details were so fun to notice. It’s a perfect location in the heart of the old town and, with the shutters closed, was quiet enough to get a good night’s rest each evening. So clean, good WiFi, and AC worked well. One of the best accommodations I have had in my entire life!! Loved everything about the stay - interior of the lavender themed room, spotless everywhere, smells great, comfortable bed, complementary home made apricot cake and liquor, and an exceptionally well organised and helpful host!! He even helped us to get to the bus terminal after checking out. That was truely phenomenal experience.

The location is amazing, inside the old city walls, the room very quiet despite being so central. And not too hot even without turning the AC. Bed very comfortable. Host very helpful, goes over and beyond to accomodate you and gives advices on your stay. Highly recommend it

There’s nothing to say here. The stairs weren’t an issue for us but might be for some.

Boutique Cardea was exceptional. This room had everything we could need and more. Gorjan has thought of everything. It’s spacious, clean, and so comfortable. There was water in the fridge, some surprise chocolate treats, leaflets, a map of Split. Gorjan met us at the ferry and walked us to the property. He helped with our bags and shared helpful information and many links to attractions, restaurants, etc. The room is beautiful. Check out was at 10am and our flight was r until 8pm. Gorjan gave us a later check out and offered to keep our bags until the evening. The fabulous room and fantastic host. Thank you!

There wasn't anything I can think of that we did not like.

Accommodation was spotless on arrival. Fresh home made slice of cake waiting in the fridge. Room was exceptionally spacious, which is amazing when living out of a suitcase. All facilities inside the property were perfect - fully stocked kitchen, air con, bathrooms, etc. Location was right in the centre of Old Town, perfectly positioned. Gorjan was an excellent host, met us at the shuttle stop and walked us 15min to the accommodation which was a huge help. Did the same on departure. Helps with luggage. Checked in with us during our stay. Couldn't have asked for more, and would stay again without question when returning to Split.

This was not a negative for us, but you do need to walk up a couple of flights of stairs to reach the apartment. For those with mobility problems, this would be an issue.

The location is excellent. It is an easy, short walk from where the taxi dropped us off to where the apartment is located inside the palace. The apartment has a bedroom, bathroom, and living room. The owner was extremely helpful, including organising the taxi, meeting us at the drop off point outside the palace walls, and providing advice about the city. It was very(!) hot in Split, but the apartment has air-conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. We would stay there again.

The three flights of stairs are steep and narrow so not recommended for people with poor mobility. Being in the centre of the palace means there can be some noise overnight from the 24 hour party people - this applies everywhere within the palace walls.

Gorjan is a super host. When we arrived in Split he met us at the bus stop and walked us to the accommodation, and carried our bags up the three flights of stairs. Our room was really three rooms - sitting room, bedroom and bathroom - and is right in the middle of the palace. We had plenty of space with lots of generous extras, plus comfy firm beds, great water pressure and instant hot water, and good air conditioning. With the outside shutters and the internal windows closed, it was quiet, and Gorjan supplied ear plugs, just in case. Highly recommended.

70 steps up , but to be expected in the charming old world accommodations. Not a bother for us.

Great location in the heart of the old walled city. It’s located on a side street that makes for a quieter night stay. Gorgan arranged a driver to meet us at the airport to transport us to Split. Gorgan met us at the entrance to the city, guided us to the apartment and carried our luggage up the stairs. He gave us a quick orientation to the apartment as well as the city. He checked in with us several times to see if we were ok or if we needed any supplies and delivered what we needed the same day. This is a beautiful, well appointed, comfortable apartment. The balcony is a nice plus to enjoy the outdoors overlooking the street below.

The stairs are a bit steep and narrow but well worth the effort to get to the top. Neighbors across the balcony in a different building were a bit loud/drunk at night. Not a single other complaint that I could make about our stay.

Wonderful location right in the heart of Diocletian's Palace. We loved being able to enjoy the nighttime environment and then walk right back to our place. Being on the top floor of the building allowed us to escape the city noise down below for peaceful nights of sleep. Gorjan was wonderful and met us at the bus station and allowed us to keep our bags late the day we were checking out until our bus left.

Couldn't have faulted our stay.

Amazing location, impeccably clean and beyond exceptional host! Gorjan went above and beyond during our stay, met us at the port, carried our luggage to the hotel and up the narrow staircase. He spent time explaining some good spots in Split town centre and also helped arrange a transfer to the airport at the end of our stay (even coming early to help us with our luggage again!). Our room was spotless, with homely touches, lots of local information leaflets and an amazing location. Would absolutely stay again!
