How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Swimming pool does get shaded by mid afternoon and not all the pool features (like the jets) are working any longer.
Beautiful little hotel, ideal location set back from the marina, good spread for breakfast, rooms were plush, balcony was nice and a/c was a god send!

The hotel’s position is a steep walk from the harbour. We tried every route possible. This makes it difficult for people with any mobility issues, you need to be fit.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were welcoming.

Could have had better bar area and outside space for drinks. Uphill walk was difficult with cases but not an issue.

It is easy to get down to the center but is more difficult to walk back up. Fine for those who are in good physical shape.
The pool and the balcony with sea view were wonderful. Service was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good.

If you have walking issues, the uphill climb from town is tough, especially in the summer heat.
Great suite, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, nice design. Close to famous Zlatni Rat Beach and the charming waterside area.

Ground coffee instead of instant one at breakfast would be nice
This hotel was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Exquisite breakfasts, very fresh and tasty, wide selection of products. There was a lovely pool, very clean and relaxing. We had a room with an outstanding view at the sea. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I was also very happy with the location. Very close to the sea, yet far enough to enjoy quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It is true that your stay will be more than just a check-in.

The elevator is very tight and the mini-fridge isn’t very cold.
The staff was very helpful and the facilities were very nice for a boutique hotel. Breakfast was very good!

The pool is seasonal so it was cold but being so hot, it was nice to cool down - more mention for others.
Fantastic hotel, rooms are spacious (although we did get an upgrade so added bonus), breakfast has so much choice and attention to detail. All the staff were amazing and we weren't expecting to get pool side service for drinks which was lovely

The location of the hotel was a good 7-8 minute walk downhill to the beach/harbour which was fine for myself and my daughter but the very steep walk back uphill for anyone with mobility issues would be a struggle.
Loved this hotel and all the facilities on offer. It was very modern and spotlessly clean.We were upgraded to an apartment, which was a nice surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast offered a large selection of dishes and was lovely and fresh. Towels were available for the pool and beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Shower over bath, and felt bath was too high. Only something minor for the shorter person🙂
Clean spacious rooms.. 5 min walk to waterfront. Pool refreshing and nice to have seats under shade also. Breakfast in morning had variety and staff in hotel very pleasant

Yes, the hotel is up up up from the ferry port however it is easy to grab a taxi. Loved the pool. Breakfast was good, fresh eggs. We had a view of the pool so our room was quiet. Friendly staff.

Hotel staff were so lovely, always said hello/good morning and we’re happy to help with anything needed. The room was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Felt like such great value for money. Hotel breakfast was absolutely lovely with so much choice from fresh fruit to cooked meats and spreads. 10 minutes walk from the town/beach so great location. Really enjoyed our stay.
