Our stay on Koločep Island was calm, refreshing, and just what we needed. The island itself is quiet and green, with beautiful walking paths, pine trees, and stunning sea views. It’s the kind of place where time slows down in the best way. We stayed in a very comfortable and clean apartment — it had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. In the local café, they serve fresh fish, simply and deliciously prepared. Sitting there in the evening, enjoying a quiet meal by the sea, was one of our favorite moments. Koločep is a peaceful place that’s easy to fall in love with. We left feeling rested and grateful — and we’d love to come back again one day.

There’s only one small grocery shop on the island, so planning your meals or buying daily essentials can be a bit tricky - it’s best to come prepared or shop in Dubrovnik before arriving. The ferry schedule doesn’t always align well with flight times, which can make planning your arrival or departure a bit challenging. It’s a good idea to double-check connections in advance and leave some buffer time, especially if you're flying in or out on the same day.

Amazing view and the sunset walk behind the house. The spacious apartment offers a good place to relax but no sun in the afternoon ( September).

It’s as pictured, lovely views, the owners were really nice and helpful, nice kitchen and bedrooms and excellent facilities. Gorgeous beaches. It is a very private location if you want to have a chill and admire the scenery and go for a walk.

Location was its only downfall, it’s half an hour walk to get a meal out unless you call the 5 star hotel down the road and there’s no food shops nearby.

Prekrasan apartman, na divnoj lokaciji sa predivnim pogledom. Domaćini su bili izuzetno ljubazni, pogotovo gospodin Pero s kojim smo sve dogovarali i koji nam je pomogao prilikom transporta. Sve u svemu 10/10.

The apartment was gorgeous. Very spacious and had very peaceful surroundings. It was close to the beach and had wonderful walks surrounding it. The Lujak family were so warm and welcoming and were very helpful in trying to help make our stay better!

Great apartment in a beautiful setting with the bonus of a suberb sea view from the balcony. It is equipped with everything you will need, maintained to a high standard and has comfortable beds and sofa. The Lujak family are very friendly and offered advice and local information (eating out, shopping etc) and also provided assistance with transportation to and from the island. We loved the island and apartment, had a great holiday and hope to return soon.

Watch out for the mosquitoes when you are out and about!

The house is super clean, fully equipped, with lovely hosts and a beautiful view. There is no major supermarket on the island, so I advise people to bring food. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you would expect and more. There was even baking accessories in it.The host offered lovely grapes from their own garden. I would love to come back to this great place and recommend it to anyone.
