The facilities need some maintenance. The towel rail fell off and the shower head kept twisting round slightly and spraying the floor. Plus the staff member who greeted us in the restaurant wasn’t very friendly.

The location was great as it was right by the marina, and the view of the mountains was incredible. The apartment is well equipped with cooking facilities. The lady on reception downstairs was friendly.

The only time we saw someone in reception was when we checked out, she was friendly enough but the arrangement of having to check in in the bar below is a little strange. The rooms are quite old and not as clean as they could be but the beds and bedding were great. The shower screen doesn't stop the water leaking out of the shower so the whole floor was soaked when someone showered.

While not something we didn't like, do note that the rooms are rather small, as we had barely enough space to hold our luggage which was basically 2 trolley bags. And they only have three free parking spots, after that, it costs EUR 15 a day at a nearby parking area. There is no bin in the bathroom either.

The apartment is clean with a comfortable bed and the property is easy to locate. All in all, a good place to stay at for the price.

Unfortunately no space in the apartment to dry the beach towels and swimming suits.

It's a wonderful view from the window to wake up to! The location is awesome, the check in was easy and the parking to a reduced price in such a central location is great. There is a nice little beach just around the corner.

The mattress was too soft.

Perfect location in the centre and far from the crowd. Amazing views of the Makarska harbour. Comfortable apartment (except for the mattress). Paid parking available (15€/day) but you can find free parking if you walk about 20 minutes.

The staff at the restaurant. Main guy was ill tempered and rude. Reception unmanned at all times. Aircon only in main room, not in bedroom. One balcony door wouldn’t lock. Was fined for unloading car on arrival, not the fault of the restaurant but they could have explained as they saw us arrive? 🤷‍♂️

There were a few things that might need attention because of age. Also missing dustbin in bathroom and bigger one in kitchen. The seating outside needs to be replaced as the cushion falls through the flimsy back.

Was a little disappointed to see that the laundry service was double what we were told and quite excessive at 20 euros - glad I did this elsewhere.

Bathroom is very small and shower is handheld, making it awkward to wash your hair and hold it at the same time. Tap in kitchen needs tightening as it wobbles when you try to turn it on or off.

Hotel room above a restaurant/bar where you collect your key. Private parking is available for €15/day, Sunday is free in the public carpark, then 0,90/hr from 7am Monday. Microwave, kettle, fridge. Small room but okay. Our was on the 3rd floor (lift) overlooking a garden, you can see the sea if you look around the side. Right on the waterfront – excellent position. Very peaceful.

There was a bit of confusion about the rooms we received and I realised when we arrived each room had its own name. It would be helpful if on booking.com the room names were stated with pictures. This would probably avoid any future confusion. All was sorted eventually with the owner giving our family of six a fully paid meal with drinks and desserts. I was very happy with this and he went above and beyond to make things right.

The apartment was not exactly modern but it was clean and comfortable. The views from the terrace room was absolutely amazing. The restaurant underneath had the most delicious food and the staff were so attentive and welcoming. I’ve never been to a more hospitable restaurant.

The little room was perfect for an overnight stay. It had lovely windows overlooking the park. There was a fantastic jazz festival in in the park so it was a little noisy but in a good way! The vibe and tunes were a bonus! The staff let me keep my luggage in the bar during the day whilst I walked around after check out. Would definitely stay again. The location was prime spot next to the little beach and marina.
