A wide variety, savouries, cakes, cereals and fruit for breakfast. Everything was very appetizing and freshly cooked. The restaurant for dinner had a smallish menu, but everything was well thought out with good ingredients and there was a large wine list. Our room was well appointed. Very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Very good, large and quiet public rooms. Above all, the excellent staff. Everyone of them went the extra mile to help us and were so genuinely friendly.

The concierge could've been more helpful

We stayed here to kick off our honeymoon and were absolutely blown away. The overabundant and attentive service and comfort were incredible--the breakfast (the most magical breakfast I've experienced), free spa services, and pool bar were second to none and made the hotel the ideal retreat to head back to after a day of exploration.

The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance to beaches and old town. Reception went out of their way to accommodate us by offering us a room change with a better view.

The only negative is with the building itself. We could hear guests in next door rooms opening and closing wardrobe doors. This wasn't a problem in general, but our neighbours seem to get up pretty early which woke me each day. We could also hear guests who were in the atrium, which again wasn't an issue unless there was a large, loud group. If you're a light sleeper you may want ear plugs just in case.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff are exceptional, they really can't do enough for you. I would absolutely stay here again.

young (un-)talented staff could be more friendly and more tailor-made regarding any upcoming issues or questions. try to figure out the customers needs before they even tried to explain. and give them air - they are on holidays - so the last call for breakfast should not be 10 minutes before it ends.

Superb location. Modern, clean, beautiful outdoor areas. The manager (if I remember correctly Julia)was an absolute stand out. My daughter needed medical attention, was immediately arranged and followed up. Had a wonderful stay in Split and having an escape so close to the old city but away from the hustle and bustle was wonderful.

As other reviews mentioned, the street view rooms can have some traffic noise from a few cars and bikes speeding - but nothing unbearable or constant. I expected it having read the reviews and I prefer this type of noise over nuisance from large crowds or bars and nightclubs.

Modern building along the boardwalk where the bigger yachts dock, the rooms are clean and modern, there is a large terrace with a bar and a restaurant, the food is good, the gym is also good they arranged a very good physio / trainer for me, the rooftop pool is small and shallow but also enjoyable, all just a very short enjoyable walk to the old town and the ferry pier and yet away from all the chaos.

The breakfast was phenomenal, as well as the staff with great choices and a terrific outside terrace. Our room looked directly out on the harbor with a view of Split and it was a pleasure to lay in bed in the morning with our coffee and watch the harbor wake up! Rooftop terrace and pool was also amazing. Parking was not free, but very convenient and safe. The location is right on the harbor promenade, which is perfect for people watching and walking into beautiful Split. Make sure you stroll into Split in the evening, as it is magical. We would stay at the Hotel Ambassador again without hesitation.

Gym is a tiny bit too small and the pool didn’t have many loungers so if you are going to Split and plan to sunbathe all day you will need to get to the pool for 11am ish

Such an amazing hotel, really good location, a short walk from the centre of Split. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Pool space is lovely and the breakfast is out of this world.

The location of the concierge was a bit strange (small thing I know!), it was difficult to get away from other guests in the public areas (admittedly, a result of the super-central location which means a more compact hotel) and the outside bar and restaurant seemed like part of the pier/quay (which is both good and bad)

The staff were super friendly and efficient - just perfect in their manner. The food was good, the location incredibly convenient. For an urban hotel, the pool was impressive.
