Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only downside was the water damage in the bathroom and the water ran brown for the first few seconds but that is expected really. There were some cracks in the tiles on the floor. The pool wasn't too clear and clean but there are a lot of trees in the area.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom Villa, like an apartment with a full kitchen and living room along with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The space was great, the rooms are airconditioned but the joined living area wasn't, as long as you kept the bedroom doors open, the air will get to the living/dining room area. The beds were very comfortable. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay there again. The included breakfast was really good and the wifi worked!

We have stayed here 4 times and have always chosen this hotel due to its proximity to the airport, but the price of the food in the restaurant has skyrocketed. A plate of food is now running more than I would have to pay for the same plate back in the US. The cost of the rooms has also gone up a lot and I was told when trying to book another visit for 5 people that they would only include breakfast for 3 people and we would have to pay an additional $30 for ny 6 year old and 10 year old. For the cost of this hotel, it should definitely include the breakfast. It looks like now they are charging for it. Also when we went the pool was filthy and we could not use it on the day we were there. We will be looking for other cost effective options for just an overnight stay before our flight.
The property is lovely as always, there is hot water in the showers, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is very good.

There was some room upgrades being done that were noisy but the pool area offered a great escape.
The pool was beautiful and a great place to relax.

The hotel is dated and needs an update. Bathroom tiles cracked. Road noise could be heard in room.
The free breakfast and the hotel staff were awesome.

General lack of maintenance and upkeep in all areas. Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. The property didn't feel very secure. Overall the hotel is too expensive for the lack of upkeep, so we won't go back when were in the area
The breakfast is great and the pool is large and pretty clean. The wifi signal is good. Hotel room was clean and the A/C worked well.

The entrance to the Hotel was hard to find, maybe they should put up a more significant sign. The shower needed some maintenance.
The rooms were fine, the Breakfast was great, the pool was lovely, and the location was convenient.

The hotel could use an update - you definitely get a old Spanish mission vibe but things like the bathrooms (chipping tiles) a especially the windows (wouldn’t seal/close properly) could use a little TLC

I think the faucet spray in the bathroom can be replaced or improved.
Rooms were clean, comfy and running hot water. Great location and felt safe knowing a security guard was on watch.

Pull out bed was gross and full of bugs dead and alive. All 3 kids had to share main bed. Recommend putting weather stripping on the exterior door. Can see right through and had a gecko visit us.

Very relax about masks.
I liked the staff. Very friendly. The restaurant was open 24 hours which was great because I had family coming in to Palmerola at midnight.
