Great location, good food except the breakfast.

The breakfast was too limited. The girl who serve us tried hard to keep the portions to the minimum. No bread was offered.

Closeness to everything, we walk to our desired places.

Major thing: we got two rooms and we couldn't truly lock them from the inside, anyone with a mastercard key can go in at any time. To get to the hotel's available parking you need to cross the street and it's not the best, plus traffic makes it tricky.

The reception/lobby staff were great. Very friendly. Breakfast was good. Should have diet sugar for coffee. Room was clean, bedding was clean, beds were comfortable.

THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WHO WOULD NOT MAKE CHANGE!!!!

This isn't a bad place except for the staff. it is very hit and miss. Checked in and great ladies at the front desk. Then when I needed change to pay my cab, the front desk woman (not the same) says she can't. WTF??? a major hotel in La Ceiba and the front desk won't make change. Review goes from good to HUMDRUM. I had to go next door to the pizza joint and buy an ice cream. I hope they send this women to place where she doesn't interact with paying customers. Ir was the same with the complimentary breakfast. Very surly young women who didn't really want to be of assistance. Great Housekeeping staff!! The men at the front desk where very helpful and attentive. Except for the " I have no idea what customer service" person at the front desk, it was a pretty good stay.

I had nothing to dislike about the property. Just need to know that LaCeiba is not an upscale area.

This Hotel is upscale for LaCeiba. Just realize LaCeiba is not an area of abundance.

I loved my stay at this place. The location is great, with several restaurants and a coffee shop nearby, making it very convenient to enjoy a good meal or drink. The rooms are super clean, just like they are shown in the pictures, which gave me peace of mind. Additionally, the staff is extremely attentive and always ready to help. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and an ideal location.

Is a great place to stay and rest from travelling. Nothing fancy but all needs covers.

Location is great, right in the center. Many taxis waiting right outside in case you need to go anywhere. There's a pool and a Traditional Honduran breakfast was included. Room was clean and comfy and the staff was very kind.

We were over charged by the cab to the restaurant though as it was only 3 blocks away and he charged us 4 dollars because I'm a US Gringo.. (80 lempiras)... should have been 20. It rained and there was a lot of rain that came in through the window and it got the floor wet. Not a big deal but it was a lot of rain.

Breakfast was good. Honduran Tipico... and filling... Mr. Damian was very kind and made sure that servings were fresh. Scrambled or Fried Eggs, Refried Beans, Plantains were delicious, Queso, and tortilla with a chorizo sausage. Eating by the pool and enjoying coffee. Would have preferred they didn't use styrofoam cups on the second day of the stay. The staff was great ... all of them... they recommended a really nice pizza place within walking distance called Mediterreano... and the pizza was perfect as was the Caprese salad. The facility is older... but I didn't care as for the value and the people, it was great... Exactly what I needed on a business trip.

    All was good.

The Breaskfas was good, a little short even if they said it was a buffet. The people that works there is so amazing, everyone was super helpful, giving tips of the surrounds places and super nice. The location of the hotel was perfect in the center of La Ceiba, perfect location. The hotel price wise is really good, nice are around the pool to have breakfast, a drink or a swim.

my room had a few cockroaches in it which was a bit gross. was overpriced. I stayed here on my birthday(as a treat) to get away from hostel dorms but it was no more pleasant If I’m honest. my dinner was 4/10 I also had a small bug in my food. for a large hotel you’d expect a lot more for your money.

    the pool was lovely

The front desk staff were professional but not really friendly. Had to put down $100 cash deposit in order to be able to get lock and key for safe in room. We weren't prepared to leave $100 in cash to get the lock and key. I did get the deposit back when I turned the key in. As a note to travelers to Honduras in general - they are very picky about the condition of the US $ bills - cannot be a tear or blemish on the bill. Half of the money we brought from the US wasn't usable because it has a small tear. It is the banks in Honduras that impose the rules about the condition of the dollars and not the businesses themselves, but it makes it challenging to change or use any US $.

Breakfast that is included in the room is a good typical Honduran breakfast. Other options are available for purchase. Great bartender and wait staff. Very friendly and professional cleaning staff. Location is right downtown La Ceiba which worked well for us - easy to get transportation and good access to food options. Good security. Nice laundry service. Very clean rooms.

Not having a desk in my room. Noise from pool area.

This is a reasonable choice if you want to be in the center and don't want to stay very long. The pool would probably be an attraction for families. Rooms surrounding the pool are noisy during the day and the early evenings but usually quiet down by 9 or 10 p.m. The rooms are functional but nothing special. Mine lacked a desk, which was an inconvenience. The shower stall was tiny, but otherwise the bathroom was fine with plenty of space for toiletries, etc. There was also plenty of space to hang clothes. The central plaza is directly across the street, but there's not a lot to do, overall. I pretty much knew that, so it's not a complaint, just a comment for others that may be considering the hotel. The staff was friendly and the front desk staff spoke English. I had a small glitch upon check-in, but nothing serious. Breakfast is either tipico or pancakes and fruit.
