Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SingaporeWe had a free room upgrade (to a room with awesome view). Check in/out was very fast with staffs always available to guide us around. Service was exceptional. Love that we have 24/7 room service and gym. Location is super convenient, with a mall right next to the hotel, connected. Walking distance to Kowloon and Austin MTR.

(1) Excellent location for these reasons : (i) Direct link to the airport via the Airport Express (W is located at Kowloon Station and once at this station, exit is connected to the hotel); (ii) connected to the Bullet Trains to China via the mall; (iii) easy access to Tsim Sha Tsui (walking distance and also, for those who can't walk much, you can easily reach TST or the Star Ferry via Austin MTR station); (iv) that W Hotel is located within a mall which has restaurants, food outlets and a supermarket - super convenient!! (2) Wonderful experience right from the start where I was warmly greeted at each stage from the main entrance to the Check-in team. Special mention goes to the wonder staff named "Best" who is from Thailand. He took time to ensure I was check-in smoothly and personally showed me to the room. This means a lot to a guest and I did not feel like part of factory assembly team where at each stage, I was served or attended to by many different staff.

New ZealandThere was a fault with the shower and the shower head was completely missing. The cleaning staff had done nothing about it and put us in the room. And 1 of our two rooms was unavailable until after 5pm. We raised our concern the desk manager was very apologetic and moved us to a higher level suite. We were very grateful that the staff addressed the issue for us as soon as they could. But to be a proper 5 star hotel, they need to have been reviewing of their rooms to ensure they don't give guests rooms with such problems. We were later told that our second room had unacceptable carpet stains from the last guests and that was why we could not get access until the carpet cleaners had been in and fixed it.
