How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The fridge in room 923 did not work. However, in overall, the room is very nice, comfortable and clean. Surprisingly, the day that I checked out, I took a seat with a cup of tea at the lobby, waiting for driver, then staff told me to do not drink. But, there was no sign about that. And I saw others at the lobby at the moment, also had their drinks. I am a bit curious 😅
I always stay here when I come to HK. Good place, great location.

1) Stairs from street level up to reception. 2) Need more hooks n hanging bars in the bathroom

Not the end of the world, but the only thing that could do with some rethinking was the lighting in the room!
I stayed here with my family. There were five of us. So we had three in one room one and two in another with interconnecting doors. Everyone said the beds were really comfortable. The hotel was so fantastically situated as we were able to walk to the pier to get the star ferry, close enough to walk to the Metro station at Tsim Sha Tsui, and the hotel is fantastically located with in Harbour City shopping Centre, which had more super high end designer shops than I’ve ever seen, in one place! We didn’t have breakfast within the hotel or any food as we were right on the High Street and able to get food easily outside of the hotel. Also all the plugs sockets were GB 🇬🇧 👍🏻

The hotel is in an excellent location, very easily accessible through different modes of transport and close to some tourist sites.The rooms are very spacious. Ideal place to stay if you want to shop too

The friendly staff
The hotel is well located, very central, the rooms are reasonably big and very well designed and have all the things we need for a pleasant stay. Above all, the staff are amazing, especially the concierge team, Joe and Kinlok are especially friendly and they help make our stay a very memorable one.

Room price was a tad high but I think it was because there were many concerts happening around the time
The hotel was near the West Kowloon station which was convenient for taking the high speed rail and connected to a mall. There are many eateries down the same street.

We had a wonderful stay at Prince Hotel, Marco Polo! The location was perfect—very near transport hubs and just a short walk to malls, markets, and key attractions. The room was spacious and well-maintained, and the staff were warm, helpful, and always ready to assist. Everything we needed was just within reach.

The hotel lobby doesn’t have toliet. Guest needs to find toliet located in the near by shopping mall. Guest needs to carry luggages themselves to the reception through stairs.

Excellent location: two bus stops (or a 20-minute walk) from Kowloon Station with the airport link. The hotel is on one of the main streets—shopping galleries, restaurants, pretty much everything is literally next door. Within walking distance from the Tsim Sha Tsui ferry pier. The room is fine—exactly what you would expect at this star/price level. Quiet air conditioning. Helpful and friendly staff. Phenomenal breakfast.
