Rooms are big and spacious. Swimming pool is great - kids spent the entire stay in there. Staff were excellent and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. This is a perfect staycation for anyone living in HK. We definitely felt like we were on a holiday away from home!

Bath tub needs refurbishment. Buffet restaurant staff were not very friendly and professional.

Room we booked was NOT what we got. Balcony was covered in weeds and there was no outdoor furniture, nothing like the photo's. The ocean view advertised was really a view of the carpark,

Calling this hotel a 5 star hotel is a huge huge stretch. A lot of inexplicable rules for the pool - No food and drink by the pool is not something I've ever heard of in HK or otherwise, really kills the vibe / and puts pause on coming back. Closing the pool for an hour over lunch is also very strange and not standard - it also doesn't open until 9am, which is too late. The beds are also SUPER hard - it was like sleeping on a hard floor with a cushion on top - needs new mattresses or decent mattress toppers. Also there are weeds everywhere in all the gardens particuarly, around the rooms with balconies - seems easy enough just to pull out.

Pool was lovely and perfect for kids and also loved the kids playground - probably one of the most modern playgrounds I've seen in HK. All the kids amenities and grounds in general were really great. The two restaurants were yum - the Yue for dim sum and Blue Lagoon for general food with really great with lovely staff. Coffee shop pop-up was also a real win! Normally hotel coffee is not good - but this was great.

The property was great!

Great place! Lots of local things to do golden beach, piazza etc…. It’s 30-40 mins to Mong kok and Shenzhen. The concierge helped me fix my Alipay app and gave me amazing directions in English and mandarin to and from Costco in shenzhen. It was seamless and a wonderful experience.

Cannot fault the hotel or accommodation. However I would like to suggest that carpeted rooms need to be stained free. So a deep clean is required and to maintain its condition.

No beer in room service. The minigolf and bowling were disappointing, they are on a corner in a cemented floor, they should be moved to a proper area in the lawn. They shouldn't charge for using the indoor playground. The elevator and access to the LG area is a bit narrow and confusing. Coffee pop up bar was closed, as were other restaurants and facilities. Room bathroom has a bit of mold in the marble walls.

The green surroundings, the birds, proximity of a lovely beach, nice pool and water playground area, good buffet, pleasant playground and waterfront/garden walking paths, nice outdoor seating meal areas, comfortable beds, staff was busy but did their best. I also loved having the gold coast plaza nearby with a supermarket and different dining options.

You could feel the whole vibe of "budget cut" in this hotel. I support the idea of water dispensing machines, but there could be more given each floor is so big. The room was kinda simple and too basic for a 5-star hotel. Bath robes would only be provided on demand, and just only one box of tissue to be shared in a room.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, and the view of our balcony is very nice. I also like the individual air conditioning system in our room, which is not available in many hotels. The breakfast is also surprisingly good given the price.

They removed the shuttle bus service to Tuen Mun MTR, but it was still easy to take a public bus over.

Everything was great! Room was good, breakfast was good, the area was good. Short walk to the plaza for food and grocery, easy access to the beaches, and near to Tung Chung, Airport, Lantau Island.
