Prime Location, easy access to all kind of public transportation. Very clean room and toilets

The room was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very good, and the metro station is nearby. But if you travel to Hong Kong, you need a Hong Kong type plug, because all hotels there have different sockets from other countries. The hotels don’t have USB or Type-C plugs. I didn’t have a Hong Kong type plug, so I bought one from the staff.

The host communicated well over WhatsApp and was very helpful throughout my time there. It is very central located in TST and a stroll away from many landmark. The bus station (A21 and N21) stops right in front and TST station is around the corner. Even though it is located next to the main road and situated in the middle of the city my room is dead quiet which was perfect! The room itself is compact but contain all amnesties. I like the luggage storage area beneath the bed and the safe inclusion. All very well thought out. The bathroom is very compact but again well laid out and is clean and tidy. I did not check out any communal area but they have one on the other floor.

The mattress is hard and the pillow uncomfortable. I got very little sleep.

Location

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room I was given was old, poorly maintained, and dirty. There were cockroaches in the room, which made the experience extremely uncomfortable. I had booked based on the photos shown on the property listing, expecting a clean and modern room as advertised. However, upon arrival, I was placed in a completely different room that looked nothing like the one in the pictures. This is misleading and unacceptable. I hope the property addresses these issues so future guests have a better experience.

Pros - very good location, a few steps from the subway. Across from Kowloon park, near many restos, convenience stores. On the 8th floor, very quiet - although on a busy street, traffic noise wasn't an issue.

Cons - the photos are misleading - the rooms are worn down. There was a moldy smell in the room, and it permeated my clothes - still trying to get the smell out after 2 washings. I would have liked to have known that there is no separate shower stall - the whole bathroom gets wet as a result. HK is so humid that the moisture doesn't evaporate and the fan doesn't work well. So, the room gets very moldy. Bed is a mattress on the floor, which is slightly elevated. It is comfortable but it wouldn't work for anyone who has bad knees or a bad back to have to get up from the floor. Elevator - usually quick but it's a little old and worn. Building closes at 10 pm, need to use a code to get into the building. Reception - only comes in at 11 AM, and leaves around 7 PM. General ambience - there isn't a common area, it's not a place where you can meet other travellers, so not like some hostels.

Excellent location. A few minutes walk away from the harbour. Lots of food and shopping within walking distance. Easy to get to. You can get a bus from the airport that drops you right outside the hotel.

The shower drained very slowly.

Perfect location in the heart of kowloon. The receptionist Pesh was extremely lovely and certainly helped creating a friendly vibe in the hostel.

The receptionist Pesh was the nicest person. She heard about how I had to change my travel plans and then took me out to show me HK and to cheer me up. When I needed help she helped me. Made the stay great. Also my room was cosy and comfortable and nice a cool (I had the single bed)

The location was great - close to public transport and walkable to TST and Kowloon areas. Many restaurants in the area as well. Easy to get in to the property no matter what time you arrive.

It was a bit hot in the room even if the thermostat was already set at 16C. Informed the host via WhatsApp but they said it was the maximum the air conditioning could go. It was rainy during the summer season as well so the hot and humid weather outside coupled with the warm room was not ideal.

I have stayed here several times. I like the location very much. There are many shopping malls, shops and restaurants nearby. HSBC is just next door. Living here is my ideal location. The room is also large and the TV has an entertainment audio-visual system. I like it very much.

This stay was not a good experience. The light in the bathroom was broken. I can understand why the electrician didn't come to fix it immediately, but it seems that there are no supporting measures to solve this problem. In addition, when the air conditioner is turned on, some black dust will blow out. I guess it may be because it is not cleaned regularly, which led to poor sleep quality this time.

The receptionist is a good suggestion and friendly.
