The rooms are poorly insulated when it comes to sound. Ours was near the reception and the kitchen, and all the noise and talking could be heard clearly in the room and kept us from falling asleep. They start preparing breakfast early, which woke us up as well. Traffic is also heard. Towels not included, you have to give a deposit for them.

Amazing breakfast! Definitely the best part about the stay. The staff is also very helpful and speaks English. Location is alright.

The only downfall to this incredible hotel is that the bathroom is not attached to the room but it was always clean and available.

I've stayed at 15 hotels in Antigua and this was my favorite one! Such a good price and you get so much. The breakfast buffets were incredible and the staff was so friendly. I also thought it was the most comfortable bed of the summer. I could not be happier.

You can hear the city noise, as it's centrally located and the walls are thin. There's no blackout, so you wake up with the sun.

I loved this place, but it doesn't have private bathrooms, so you do have to walk outside if it's raining.

The Saturday breakfast buffet was incredible with made to order eggs and crepes. Its a super easy location and it's the best bed I've slept in this summer. Insider tip...get a second floor room. Its better upstairs.

We were a bit unlucky with our room as we didn’t sleep very well - number 13 is built on wooden stilts and so every time anyone would go past our door the room would shake and rumble. It wouldn’t be too much of a problem if you were getting up really early each morning with everyone else (which we did the second two nights). We were too lazy to ask to change the room - others didn’t seem to have the same problem as us.

Really excellent and helpful staff who bent over backwards to help us with early morning snack packs, luggage storage, showers after our overnight hike, and onwards transport. The property is kept super clean - I’ve never seen a place this clean. The breakfast provided is really tasty too. And the location was perfect for exploring Antigua and only a 5 minute walk from Ox expeditions for early morning tours. Overall it was excellent value for money.

My room was closed to the patio and kitchen, so it was a little noisy because they don't have AC, which could help to minimize external noise. Guadalupe, Juan Pablo , the maintenance and kitchen crew...kind and warm people.

I got a private bedroom and it was quite small and had no wardrobe. The curtains were also too thin and let all the sunshine pass through

My bed was very comfortable. The toilets were also very good, each one was equipped with its own basin. Breakfast was quite good as well.

A smoking area is outside one of the bedroom windows. If you stay in room 9, beware of cigarette smoke coming into your room.

After a hiatus in staying here due to the pandemic, it was lovely to return and see staff and the many improvements they have made to the property.

We booked a volcano tour with a night up in the mountains but due to earthquakes we needed to come back down and needed a room in a rush, we were so tired but they helped us directly and were very nice. Thank you so much!

Wonderful little b&b with such friendly and helpful staff. Great location and probably the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel or hostel before! I was able to store my luggage and check in early when the room was available. Transfer to lake Atitlan was organised so easily for me. Thank you!

INCREDIBLE, book this place now! Seriously one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Our room had bedside lights and a fan. The shared bathrooms are meticulously cleaned several times a day. Super cute outdoor public spaces. Breakfast was amazing, staff were so helpful and kind. They can help you book anything you want, and usually at a much lower price than you would find online. They let us store our luggage there during our Acatenango hike and when we got back the next day they even let us shower there before we caught our bus to Lake Atitlan. Location is great, on a side street so it's not very loud at night but still about a 5 minute walk from the arch and within 10 minutes of all other attractions.

Excellent breakfast included. Incredible level of cleaning in the room and common areas. The staff always had a smile on their face and so friendly. The reception staff were so helpful and booked us a tour. The room was very comfortable and quiet at night.

The buffet breakfast was delicious! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great open-air environment with hammocks and comfortable seating options. Our room had a view of all three volcanoes. Excellent location as well!
