You could hear the rats overnight really close (or inside who knows eheheh) to the room and it’s not the best because some nights there is a close club who puts really loud music. We had to wake up at 5 to hike and it was not fun

Hostel is new but is simple, some people might find it uncomfortable to stay here.

Nice place considering the price. I got two nights here in a private room for $17, which was a good deal. They also provide you with a free kayak for an hour and free tuk-tuk rides.

Perfect little private hut, really cheap for the location and laundry. Friendly staff. Great place to stay, only downside was the shower facilities, warm water if you’re lucky only in one shower, and the neighbours have very loud parties on some nights. I definitely would stay again.

Loud music playing, however we aren’t sure it was from this hostel. But the music was playing extremely loud until 3am, could even hear it with ear plugs. As soon as the sun rose we woke up due to no curtains in the room.

A rather strange set up, like glamping in long term tents made from random things. The showers weren't so great or the kitchen. But the staff were amazing, the chill out area was awesome and we got an hour's free kayaking. Definitely recommend it for the price!

Pots and pans could definitely be updated. Only one toilet at reception for the whole hostel at the moment however they are currently working on building 5 more toilets! :)

Great location right on the water and a very short walk to the main strip in town. Little teepee huts are great for travellers on a budget. Outdoor kitchen was basic and rustic but possible to cook the basics in. Staff were friendly. Cheap beer and nice spots to relax around the hostel.

The water was not working fairly regularly. We stayed in the big double room and there was a rat, better to stay in the cabins if you do decide to stay here.

the style of the hostel is cool and different, makes it quite a social place. Room was fine, but the blanket needed cleaning. One of the cheapest places to stay in San Pedro, so you get what you pay for.

More like camping than a room. Bathrooms under construction so there was only 2 bathrooms for everyone and in the main building. The “mattress” in room 12 was horrible! We looked in other rooms and they seemed to have actual better mattresses so ask for another room if you get this one. WiFi doesn’t reach the rooms.

Location right on the water was beautiful and quieter than being right in the middle of town! Free 1 hr kayaking and tuk tuk ride. Decent kitchen. Common area is really nice with good views. Great WiFi in the common area but didn’t reach the rooms. Potable water for free.

The property is big and offers many activities such as board games and even books to read, it has comfortable sofas, etc. Friendly staff always willing to help, the different areas were always clean. Additional to your stay they offer a free hour of kayak as well as a tuk tuk road trip to selected destinations which is very useful.

I stayed 2 nights and one morning there was no water and one night there was no gas. But it got solved quickly. Unfortunately you can't use the free TukTuk ride to get to your boat after checkout that was the only time I wanted to use it.

The little huts are super cute and the beds were comfortable. There's a social atmosphere although everyone has their own room. Value is good for the price point. Loved the included Kayaking (1hr) Location is right at the water which is nice.

There is no lockers in the room and the door isn't locked when in dorm

You pay what you get. The amenities are good and clean. View is good. For Q15 you can get 1h kayak + 1 day using the tuk tuk.

The kitchen was standard but you need to constantly find a lighter to light the stove which was frustrating as we don't smoke and always had to ask someone to light it for us. The Kayak and Tuk Tuk is NO LONGER FREE!! It's still pretty cheap though $3AUD for 1 hour kayak rental and a tuk tuk all day.

The staff were lovely and tried their best with speaking english which is always appreciated. The little bungalows were small but in my opinion comfy for the price. Loved the porch swing the most!

There's "an after party place" next to the hostel. We couldn't sleep it was really loud and it finished until 3am.

My room was right next to the kitchen, which made it really loud and the outlets in the room were not powerful enough - not even to charge my phone... Internet is really bad. The kitchen needs some new pots and pans.
