The room didn't have much airflow, but the included fan helped.

We loved the location of this hotel - it was right in the center of town, with everything needed within just a few steps! Even though it was so centrally-located, once you walked into the hotel you were transported into a tranquil oasis. The breakfasts were lovely, and the staff even helped us out with getting an early breakfast on one of the days. We did laundry and it came back same day! Would highly recommend.

Wow, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel! The room was beautiful, the property itself was wonderfully located, secure, and stunning. The breakfast in the morning was delightful. It was truly a lovely oasis in the perfect location. 10/10 would come back here

It was an amazing experience to stay at San Rafael it was a magical place with a lot of history, great location, beautiful streets around very quiet, l loved the decoration. Excellent services and very friendly staff.

Just nitpicking, an addition of a chest drawer would have helped to store clothes without bending. It's hard for older people to bend. Could have added one or 2 foldable luggage racks. There is no AC in the room but it was not needed during our stay.

Excellent location, even if it was so close to the main tourist area it was very quiet. Large rooms, the courtyard was fantastic. High security gated entry. Very helpful staff.

Mattress was a bit lumpy on one side.

Powerful shower with lots of hit water. Full menu for breakfast selection - almost anything desired was available. Terrific coffee. Staff was the most attentive and competent as well as genuinely nice and caring, of any staff of any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. A phenomenal experience. Small and intimate hotel. Beautiful interior spaces. Wonderful antiques and art. Perfect location.

The hotel is located around the corner from the Arco -- one of the main tourist attractions in the town. This location was convenient because every tuk-tuk driver knows how to drive to the Arco. The hotel was Spanish colonial classic. Central garden with rooms around it. Breakfast is served at tables around the courtyard. The garden is well kept and at night candles are placed throughout that results in a very romantic mood for the place. Our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable.

This is a beautiful hotel situated in a very convenient location. The courtyard garden is so peaceful and we really enjoyed having breakfast there. We had absolutely no problems with our stay - everything was clean, quiet, and secure. The staff were very nice.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with a very Zen feel and beautiful art work from around the world displayed every where. Little nooks and crannies to enjoy quiet moments. Then, you walk out the front door and find yourself in the very heart of a bustling city. It was a PERFECT location and setting. The ala carte breakfast every morning was very lovely too.

There was no stand to lay the suitcase and open it so I had to lay it on the floor. I would replace the single chair that was in my room with a suitcase stand or a large dresser that can hold a suitcase on top.

The location is superb, very close to St Catherine's Arch, but it was very quiet. The room has a decent size that was much larger than I have come to expect for older historical buildings. The traditional decorations and sparse furniture added a nice old style touch. The queen size bed was very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was also a very decent size, very clean and equipped with modern fixtures. The breakfast a la carte was delicious. The staff was very attentive and they maintained the whole place in good condition.
