Good location if you want to stay in San Juan. But keep in mind that you’re near a good spot for swimming in the lake. There’s not much going on in San Juan at night so if you want to get to San Pedro it’s kind of a pain by tuktuk (try to scam you, give different prices depending who’s you ask. The public boats stop running at 5:30 (depending who you ask so that means you need to take a private, again variable prices). Good spot if you want to do the nose hike but still need to take a tour if it’s for sunrise

If you’re looking for a more swimming friendly spot that’s in nature try Santa Cruz or San Marcos. Theres not many common spaces to hang out if you’re wanting to meet other guests. After taxes, found it a little overpriced for what you’re getting compared to other spots around the lake. The water in the shower was way too hot, borderline burning

Very quiet and very clean. It was the ideal place to rest in Atlitlan Lake. San Juan de la Laguna es un pueblo precioso.

The family who runs the hotel were so friendly and helpful - helping me book the sunrise Indian Nose hike and letting me check in early. Beautiful garden to look out of from my room. A few minutes walk from main part of town but worth it

The property has a beautiful garden and it is very very clean. The beds are firm (which we love). It is right in town, but on a side street so is very quiet. The rooms face the garden, which makes it even quieter. The WiFi is fast. The family who runs it are so kind and really make it even better!!!

The shower is not hot, but it’s clean and has good pressure.

Traveled in Guatemala with my 2 daughters to celebrate my 50th birthday. Posada Woochooch is beautiful and is a safe little family hotel. It has a peaceful and beautiful garden. We loved the location, not too touristy, it was quiet but close to everything. Communication with staff was great. The family who runs the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Every day their sweet dog Rocco would welcome us. We had a shared bathroom, but everything was kept very clean so it really didn't matter. Highly recommend.

It’s quiet and off the beaten track, yet close to everything. The rooms face a secluded garden. It’s all very peaceful. And the hosts are super friendly and forthcoming. And the two dogs are the sweetest ;)

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It’s located in a quiet street which is a plus for me. The bed was comfortable and the garden was beautifully maintained, with seating space for relaxing. Drinking water is provided, and you can use their kitchen if you want to cook, just let them know in advance. It's less than 5 minutes walk to Calle de Los Sombreros and 5 minutes by tuc tuc to San Pedro. It may be a shared bathroom, but I was the only one in the hallway, so I felt like I had my own private bathroom. It's a warm family and they'll make sure you're comfortable! I found out they've been hosting for over a year, and they're adding more to the posada aka hostel. So keep that in mind when booking and don't demand stuff they can't provide. When you stay here, you'll be supporting a local family. I'd stay again in a heartbeat! P.S. : Please take the time to read because it clearly states that it is a shared bathroom.

The people were pleasant, but when I stayed an extra day he overcharged me and on my way out I told him and he gave me money for fear of a bad review.

It's relatively close to the lake.

The accommodation is basically a shack in a person's backyard. The bathroom is not in the accommodation, but shared.
