Very cute bungalow (close to the Peten Lake even though the lake was 1 m above normal tide). We loved talking to the owner, the bungalow was super cozy and pretty (had the one most above) and all seemed very new.

The toilet bowl was very damaged..

Great location, very beautiful. Nice houses in the nature, with airco and comfortable beds.

The staff. They are friendly, buy the essence of working in a hotel is hospitality. Ask yourself the question: how can I help customers, make them feel comfortable, at ease and welcome. Example: there is a sign that you can ask the staff to clean the room. In a tropical environment it is nice to clean at least the bin were you throw your used toiletpaper, but ok. When asked to clean the room they do it hours later, when we are back from our trip, or they don't do it at all. We got more examples, all small issues, but overall we got the feeling that we had to chase the staff to do things rather than them being proactive.

a good location on Lake Peten. The restaurant staff were very friendly.

The room was dark and the path to the room was dark. I felt a strange spiritual energy in the space.

Great location for going to tikal - right on the lake - nice restaurant. Amazing sunsets. Easy to walk into town or take a tuktuk.

Beautiful quiet location near the lake where you can swim, walking distance to El Remate. Our cabana was in a private location surrounded by trees/garden.

Customer service was minimal. One day some of the staff were doing maintenance work right outside our cabana most of the day, it was noisy and cigarette smoke was coming in our windows. Some communication about the planned work would have gone a long way. The restaurant lacked vibe, food took a long time to arrive and was average.

Good location in that it was close to the lake and easy to get to Tikal and just a 15 min walk to the village. Staff helped with booking taxis to Tikal and airport.

Room could have been cleaner when we first checked in - felt dusty in places and smelt musty and humid. Was hoping to be able to use the pontoon for swimming in the lake but due to heavy rainfall some weeks/months before half of it and the chilling/picnic area was submerged in water, beyond the hotel's control but it didn't match the description and I think the hotel should have informed guests of this limitation as it was one of the big draws for us booking the place. We also saw a crocodile near the pontoon which I don't think happens that often but was not advisable to have a swim.

    Wonderful location

Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff, except one girl who was reluctantly helpful. Felt very uncomfortable there.

Good location if visiting Tikal or Yaxha. Space and bathroom is big and units are separated from each other so more private. The place is very raw and rustic. Good price for what you get. Coffee was very good. Staff was nice.

The place is in a jungle area so it is extremely humid and the smell in our room was really bad (very mushy and moldy) The bedsheets were not clean and were wet which made it really uncomfortable and gross. For the money you pay I guess this is what you get but our room was so bad that we decided to leave a night early. Staff was super nice and only charged us 50 quetzales for that last night even though we cancelled last minute. The place definitely needs an upgrade and a deep clean but for the value we can’t complain. The best thing of this place for us was the coffee ;)
