The toilet bowl was very damaged..

Very cute bungalow (close to the Peten Lake even though the lake was 1 m above normal tide). We loved talking to the owner, the bungalow was super cozy and pretty (had the one most above) and all seemed very new.

We were expecting a different bathroom arrangement and it was a little walk to use it which was a bit of an issue to use it during the night.

Beautiful setting among plants. Hammock on our porch. Excellent food and excellent staff. WiFi was good.

I think they keep the lights low to reduce the number of bugs (good), but as a city person I felt a little uncomfortable in the dark.

The property is closer to Tikal than Flores and has easy access to the lake. It was calm and the staff were friendly and helpful. They were great about connecting us with tours and activities. It conveniently has a restaurant on the property.

The bungalow is actually a room in a building with 4 rooms. You might have noisy upstairs neighbors.

Fun location, helpful and patient staff that doesn't speak English but will try to help you. The staff helped sign us up for the Tikal tour, transportation to and from the airport. Restaurant is open untill 9.

Very nice staff. Girls learned my name and always called me by it, even though it's hard to pronounce. When I asked for extra towels and ice for sprained ankle, they were very eager and happy to help. Even got me a hammock and a chair to have in front of a house! They feed butterflies on the property, which is a nice plus, because you get to see so many! The house could probably use some upkeep though, but nothing very dramatical. It had a slight musty smell, but it could also be because of a rainy season.

Peaceful, excellent location, great staff, great menu that’s focused on what’s available locally, fruits yoghurt, omelets, seafood, pasta broad and reasonable price points - Coffee was great each morning. Access to swimming in the lake was the cherry on top. Welcoming place owner is visibly involved, it’s rustic appeal is coupled with enough modern needs for those well travelled to enjoy the tranquility

We got a room with a shared bathroom, and it was a very short walk to get to the bathroom outside. The room had a big fan, which was enough to stay cool. No lake view from the room, but the pier has a picnic table, and you can have food and drink from the restaurant out there. The hotel is a medium walk from the main road which was nice because it was very quiet.

As with most every hostel I stay at the problem is in the bathrooms. No hooks or side ledge to put your stuff on. For towels, toiletries or clothes

Very nice, tranquil location next to the lake and the forest. The staff is friendly and helpful, we could even rent a motorcycle. Tikal is not far away and it's much less crowded than Flores.

We ordered different kinds of room and got something else with less space. after a long time the manager decided to give us a better room. The girls at the reception were in training so confused a little bit, but I really like the space.

The location is very nice close to the lake and quiet. Very nice accommodation in the natural house. Pyramids are very close to a very good place to reach Tical. I liked the space so will return for sure.x

Didn't seem to have more than 1 shower for people in dorms, and the water came out too hot (but I guess it's because it's in the pipes in the sun all day). Also the filtered water stations were sometimes empty which was a bit annoying.

Welcoming, helpful and friendly girls working on the front desk! Scenic hotel, with nice gravel pathways and lots of nature around. Restaurant on the waterfront, very peaceful vibe. Free breakfast is a big bonus! Good eggs, plantain, yoghurt granola fruit bowl, and they even can prep a sandwich for you if you do the early Tikal tour and you grab it in the morning to take! Really thoughtful. Also we were in a dorm that had around 15 beds, but only us and another couple were staying so it felt very private and calm too! Lots of space, and they gave us fans.

This place is amazing in every single regard, the wonderful and welcoming staff, comfortable and light spaces, the exquisite meals, and the incredible stillness. Will keep returning for sure.
