Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesIt takes about 15 minutes to walk to the museum Miraflores where across the street is a mall and a big supermarket. For everything else I took Uber.
Clean. Comfortable bed and pillows, good shower, WiFi, free water. Quiet place. Very nice and helpful hostess. For a little extra Yesenia brings breakfast to your room.

The location is within walking distance to the larger Miraflores mall. I appreciated the quietness of the accommodation. The availability of a fridge, microwave, and table/sitting area was also a plus. It felt very private.

A cute private room with private bathroom. More like an Airbnb, no sign outside so was a little challenging to find in the dark. Communication was easy with the host and I was let into the property as soon as I showed up. Smelled a little musty inside and the bed was hard but the tv had Netflix and Amazon prime and the wifi worked extremely well. The host stocked the fridge with drinks and snacks that I could take at an extra cost which was so thoughtful to have. I arrived late and appreciated that there was water and snacks if I needed some. Struggled to find the sweet spot with the shower knob for hot water but it was possible with some effort. Had no cash on me to pay for my stay and the host graciously accommodated me by sending me an online link to pay digitally. She also called me after I checked in to make sure everything was ok and see if I had any questions. She was great, you are in good hands staying at this property :)

NetherlandsThe room is next to the road so you can hear the traffic quite a lot, and I have problems with sleeping so didn't manage to get a proper sleep due to this but for the rest perfect!
Wonderful place and hostess, being extremely helpful and kind. She even helped me paying with USD and gave me some change in GTQ to pay the chicken bus to Antigua. The room is more like a studio, with individual bed and private toilet, but also a kitchenette and a smart TV with even a Netflix and Amazon Prime account. They can also cook simple and affordable food for you during your stay. Wonderful!
