The bathroom weren’t very good and there wasn’t AC. Breakfast not so tasty. And it was expensive to compare to what you get.

The neighborhood was quiet and nice. The stuff were very kind and the rooftop is amazing. The rooms was pretty big.

The bath was not in the best condition and lack of a/c requires price adjustment

The location outside of the main city provides better quietness but requires additional 5 min walk. The place itself is very nice.

We really enjoyed the location, setting, staff and excellent breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. I would highly recommend getting a room with an outward facing window (not sure if they all have them), but the evening breeze helped tremendously to keep us cool at night.

The noise from the kitchen, when you are on the first floor.

It is fabulous and beautiful place - and the location is excellent - far away from he noisy center. Happy with everything!

If you are on the first floor, the noise from the staff is waking you up early in the morning.

I liked everything! Beautiful house! And not being in the super center - where is very noisy, is actually a big advantage. Unless the hotel has noisy Spanish guests, leaving the hotel at 3 am, waking everybody. :)

Small things that didn’t diminish our stay but should be attended to: 1) the toilet seat was worn out and, though clean, looked very worn. 2) a lamp was missing on one nightstand

We stayed here last year and chose to return this year because Villa Serena is a special place. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to relax with a book and observe the volcano El Fuego. The courtyard is full of pretty flowering plants and has nice little tables where breakfast is served. We have stayed on the main level as well as on the upper level and enjoyed each room. The hotel is in a very quiet area and we were never bothered by noises. This is a well-run hotel and everyone who works there is kind and professional.

    Everything was fantastic.

Villa Serena is a beautiful small boutique hotel with abotu 10 rooms. The hotel and rooms are nice but the highlight is the small interior plaza for sitting, eating breakfast, working, etc. Our rate included breakfast each morning which was delicious. There is also a wonderful rooftop terrace with city and volcano views. The staff were wonderful.

The first room I stayed in was great, but the second room the bed was way too firm for me to sleep on

Wonderful hotel tucked out of the way in a quiet street with incredible views from its rooftop. The staff were all amazing and we had a great time there.

The place is a moderate walk away from the city center -- which is why it is so quiet, that worked great for us but may be a challenge for some as Antigua is all cobble stones.

The beauty of the place was extraordinary -- views of the volcanoes and sunsets from the 2 rooftops, as well as the gardens inside. Room was just fine -- one of my friends said her bed was hard -- but overall all 5 of us were totally delighted with our stay, and the staff could not have been sweeter or more accommodating of a number of special requests.

The bathroom was very small with poor plumbing though not much worse than the other hotels we stayed at in Guatemala. It would be nice to have more and better seating on the rooftop to enjoy the views.

Beautiful garden, great views of the volcanoes from the rooftops, nice breakfast.

The garden courtyards were an oasis from the busy streets of Antigua. The rooftop terrace views of the nearby volcanoes were truly amazing. The tasteful Spanish decor was a feast for the eyes. Staff were great and helpful. Every Cate has been taken to make this a sanctuary.
