Perfect if you are having an overnight layover in Guatemala. Five minutes from the airport and they have a shuttle service. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My only suggestion would be to add a screen door to the sliding glass doors so you can fresh air without mosquitos getting in.

Breakfast in a lovely garden setting. We could park our car. Staff allowed us to store a couple items during our stay. The door lock got jammed and they were able to get a locksmith over to fix the lock within 1.5 hours.

It was super convenient to the airport and I felt very safe arriving at midnight. The staff was so nice and lovely. The room was a good size and the garden was cute! I loved having the view from my room. The breakfast was also really good. Definitely recommend!

Hostal Villa Toscana is an adorable hotel that is less than a 10 minute walk from the airport. They do offer a shuttle as well but I opted to walk when I arrived just because it was so close rather than have to wait at the airport. I did take the shuttle back to the airport when I left. Room was super cute and clean. There isn't a restaurant at the hotel but they do offer a free breakfast. I'm not a breakfast person so I can't vouge one way or another. They do have menus and offer delivery from local restaurants which I did take advantage of. I was able to enjoy dinner in their super cute Garden dining area. The staff was happy to proved placemat, a plate, napkins and utensils so it felt as if I was eating at an actual garden restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful thru out my stay. If you are looking for a hotel near the airport for a reasonable price I highly recommend Hostal Villa Toscana!

We asked for a wake up call just in case our alarms did not go off, and were woken up 30 min late. Luckily we were up already. Had emailed for taxi to airport and also confirmed prior night. Yet they asked taxi driver to come 30 min late. Also other hotels in the neighborhood had free shuttles. We had to pay for taxi and couldn’t charge it to the room.

Breakfast took too long so we had to miss it to catch our flight. In part we didn’t communicate well, but the staff was also less than polite.

Absolutely book this hotel. Just spent three nights there as a solo woman traveling and the experience was perfect. They helped me out with a taxi to and from the airport because I landed super late and had to depart super early. The place is very clean, the breakfast was really good (get the pancakes and eggs). Also, I wish I could remember the gentleman's name at the front desk but he was really nice. He was always there when I would leave my key with him to get the door, late nights and early mornings. It is a very "no frills" stay but the bed was good, perfect for a solo person. The hotel was also surprisingly quiet. Don't think twice, book this place. Just note, the room doesn't have AC but it was +30 while I was there and I was never hot with the little fan they provided.

One of the reasons that I booked this hotel was that they said they had shuttle service available. Once I booked, it said that service was only available until 7:30pm. Our flight didn’t arrive until 8:30pm. They did arrange for someone to pick us up, but we had to pay an additional $15. I wish this was stated on the listing before booking.

The hotel was close to the airport for our one night stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The compound was secure with a guard gate and locked front gates. The included breakfast was very good and enjoyable in the lovely courtyard. This isn’t a fancy hotel, but it was clean and comfortable.
