Airport taxi service was quite expensive and the driver was frustrated when he had to wait because the flight had been delayed. Uber is half the price, so I would recommend that instead.

Very big and clean room! Great location near the airport and breakfast was very nice. The terrace where you eat breakfast is very relaxing, something I did not expect in the middle of the city.

No air con or fan or hot water but didn’t bother us too much.

Easy walk to the airport but surprisingly quiet. Nice and clean with 24 hour reception check in was easy I would return again to stay somewhere close to Guatemala Airport.

Breakfast was supposed to start at 6AM. I told the lady the night before that we wanted to get breakfast at 6AM, as we had to leave at 6:15AM. We came down just before 6AM the next day and told the lady again, that we would eat fast as we had to leave at 6:15. Nothing was set up but we waited. 6AM came and went, and we waited for 20 more minutes before we had to go while the food preparer and the receptionist just talked nearby doing absolutely nothing. They knew we had limited time, but ignored us. We finally left, and on our way out the lady said we could order something (but did not give us the menu), but they had to takeaway container, so we left without breakfast.

Room was very warm when I arrived, no airco so I opened the window. However the room was next to the hotel garden, one of the guests sitting there was very noisy: loud cellphone calls, watching TV on high volume. So I didn't get too much sleep before my flight. Stayed here before, thatb time had a 2nd floor room and slept very well. Next time will ask for a 2nd floor room.

Had an early morning flight, needed a hotel close to the airport. Donde Regina is at walking distance of the airport, takes about 4 minutes. Friendly staff, clean rooms.

The window was facing into the hallway so a bit weird

It’s a 5 minutes away from the airport which was so convenient to get to after landing, and also really convenient to get a shuttle the next day (a lot of shuttle services to Lake Atitlan or Antigua leave from the airport or can pick you up at Hostal Donde Regina). Check in and check out were easy, breakfast was really good

Prior to the stay, I was communicating with the host and they said that they could provide breakfast early (at 6am) since we had an early flight. However, when we got to the property, they said that breakfast couldn't happen until 6:30am. When we left around 6-6:15, the receptionist asked if we wanted breakfast, but it was too late. Which makes me think they were being dishonest so they wouldn't have to do extra work.

For staying by the airport, this location is great. We were able to walk to GUA within 5 mins from the room. Overall, the space was very clean.

Lovely bedroom with comfortable beds and very quiet bearing in mind proximity to airport (5mons walk away). Staff very friendly, lovely garden and covered patio on which we ate a great breakfast.

You can hear EVERYTHING. My only request is that they would put a fan in each room to help drown out some of the neighbor noises you can hear.

Like others have said, this place is 5 minute walk (with rolly luggage) from the airport. We stayed here for a few hours before a 2am flight and it was well worth the money to have a shower and bed before a long flight home. The place is super clean. And it’s actually cuter than I expected. There was a sign outside the Hostal. It wasn’t too hard too find.

There was no sign on the property, so it was a little disconcerting to ring the bell of what looked like a private house after dark. Be sure you know the address and look for the proper number and ring the bell when you arrive -- they came out promptly and welcome us inside the attractive compound.

Great and clean little room walking distance from the airport terminal for a late arrival or early departure. Pretty garden where the delicious authentic Guatemalan breakfast was served. Neighborhood was pleasant with lots of locals walking during the day. You can walk about 1.5km to the archeological museum and an area with restaurants, but only during the day.

Very thin walls, had private room and guests above our room got up at 4am and we heard the noise from bathroom very intensively. Then there was noise when leaving room etc. So after we couldnt get to sleep again

The bathroom and the bedroom were separated by a common/public corridor, which was pretty unconfortable. The breakfast begins at 6:30 am, but it is necessary to select an option from a menu, then the meal is ready near 7:00 am.

The location is wonderful if you need a place to rest between connections. Only 5 minutes from La Aurora International Airport. The bedroom and the bathroom were comfortable.

We arrived late in the evening and a sign of the name of the Hostal outside the port would have been helpful.

Very helpful staff helping us organize transportation and quick answering all our questions. Excellent location 500m from the airport. Nice breakfast. Good value for money
